Part C Revision: The Comparison between Present Tense & Past Tense

【教学目标】

1.掌握一般现在时语态的句型特点,注意第三人称单数的形式;

2.掌握一般过去时语态的句型特点,注意动词过去式的形式;

3.对比复习一般现在时和一般过去时,注意不同时态下的动词形式和时间关键词。

【教学重点】

1.对比复习一般现在时和一般过去时,归纳两种时态的动词特点和时间关键词;

2.通过所给的时间关键词,判断句子时态,写出正确的句子。

【教学难点】

1.在掌握区分两种时态的句型特点后,能用两种时态对比描述自己或他人、某事物的过去现在不同状态。

【教学过程】

Warm-up:Greeting

Presentation

1.Listen an introduction of Sam. Then according to the pictures to finish the short passage about Sam. While filling the blanks, teacher should guide the students to find out some key words like the third person forms and the present time.

2.Listen another text of the younger Sam. Then fill the comparision form

between the past Sam and present Sam. Teacher should lead the students to pay attention to the past tense form of the verbs.

3.Group work: Students work together to think about the different forms of the verbs and the time between Present Tense and Past Tense. Then teacher makes a conclusion.

Practice

1.Task 1: Choose the right answer. Teacher should guide students to find out the key words in each question.

2.Task 2: Fill in the blank. Students should be able to find out the time then choose the right form of the verbs to fill in the blanks.

3.Task 3: Make sentences. Students should be able to make different tenses of sentences according to the key words given.

4.Task 4: Share some changes between now and then with your classmates. Homework

1. Talk to your partner: How to change a Present Tense sentence into Past Tense?

2. Write a short passage about your changes between now and then.
