教学目标

一：语言目标

1、词汇及短语：能听懂、会说、会读以下新单词和短语

an old woman, help the old people(them) on the road, make tea, make cakes, clean their houses, make them happy, weak, slow 2、句型：能用“What can I do？”和“I can...”为老年人提供帮助。

3、语法：can后加动词原形（在句型操练中渗透）

教学过程：

一、Warm Up 1 Greetings 2 Play a game: I say you say and you do. （设计意图：回顾学过的动词短语，为之后开展的活动做好语言的输入准备。）

3 回顾I can...句型。

二、Lead In 1、Show a picture of the old people and teach 3 phrases：an old woman,an old man, the old people. 2、Talk about what can’t the old people do and tell Ss why(They are old,weak,slow,pitiful,lonely) 学习ea 和ow两个字母组合读音

(设计意图：充分酝酿气氛，让学生感受老年人的难处，他们也需要人们的帮助。) 3、引出标题句：What can I do? 教师带读。

三、Text learning 1、Ask and answer
