1、知识目标: 学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本的词汇和句型结构：

--in, on, under --Where is the cat? --In the box. -- On the box. -- Under the box. 2、能力目标：

1、学生能够熟练运用下列句型：

-- Where is the cat? --In the ________. --0n the ________. --Under the ________. 2、培养学生对英语语言思维和语言组合的驾驭能力，提高他们综合运用语言的能力和英语表演的能力。

3、情感目标：

1、使学生感受愉悦和民主的学习氛围，培养和提高学生的学习兴趣；

2、激发学生的学习热情和积极的学习态度，使他们自主的成为课堂的主人；

3、创设英语情境，使学生能够熟练的运用所学句式。

五、教学过程

1、问候及导入

T:Good morning, boys and girls. C:Good morning, teacher. T:How are you? C:Fine,thanks.And you?

T:I’m fine, too. Sit down, please. Today we’re going to learn Lesson 5 Where Do They Live? First, let’s have a game together, okay? 2、讲授新课：

板书：Lesson 5 Where ? 复习铺垫阶段

利用图片，通过游戏Guess Actions（请一些同学上讲台讲出图片上的内容，其他同学回答图片上所描绘的情景），复习原来学过的一些词语（horse，rabbit等），同时通过描述，讲解短语In the box，

On the box，Under the box. 讲说内容：3个短语（In the box，On the box，Under the box.）

讲说方式：教师领读、学生自读、小组读

过关方式：小过关（同桌检测）

过关内容：能够根据汉语意思清楚准确的说出上述三个短语

（In the box，On the box，Under the box.）。

过关标准：说对3个为过关，说对2个或2个以下为不过关。（过关的同学给予红花奖励，不过关的同学下课后找老师或组长继续过关。）

一、重点突破阶段

以对话的形式引入课题。

板书句子： -- Where is the cat?

In the box，On the box，Under the box. （由短语的复习巩固自然过渡到句式的运用。)

教师讲解:-- Where is the cat? --In the ________, --0n the ________,--Under the ________.句型结构

教师带读句子 -- Where is the cat? -- In the box，On the box，Under the box. 讲说内容：Where is the cat? -- In the box，On the box，Under the box. 讲说方式：教师领读、全班起立各自读

过关内容：Where is the cat?

-- In the box，On the box，Under the box. 过关方式：大过关。（首先各组组长在班里依次过关，其次组员找组长过关。）

过关标准：发音准确，声音响亮，表情自然，能准确流利的完成上述对话内容。能做到上述四点的为优秀，三点为过关，两点或两点以下为不过关。（优秀和过关的同学分别给予红花奖励，不过关的同学下课后找老师或组长继续过关，直到熟练掌握为止。）
