Lesson 13 Summer Is Coming! 教学目标：

1、学生四会单词：happen 、different 、leaves、 any 、lose、

fan. 2、使学生能够正确描述四季树叶的不同特征。

3、培养学生的口语表达能力。

重点、难点： 对四季树叶的不同特征的描述。

教具准备：多媒体课件，教学光盘

教学过程：

Step1. Class Opening. T: Hello, boys and girls .How are you? Ss: I am fine. OK. Now, let’s begin our English class.（出示夏季的PPT) T:What is the season? Ss: Summer. T:Yes.Now let 's l learn Lesson 13 Summer Is Coming. What’s the meaning? Ss:夏天要来了。

【设计意图】：通过图片引出夏季，直接点题，让学生知道本课学习内容。

Step2. New Concepts: 1．Ask and answer: :教师出示夏季树的图片，指名看图自由说英语。What season is it? It's Summer .I like Summer. The flowers is bloom. The trees have many leaves...

【设计意图】：描述图片内容，可以让学生更好运用语言，学生的语言比较丰富，为本课的学习打下基础。

T: Please look at the trees carefully. What happens to the leaves in the different seasons? “Leaves”, What’s the meaning? Please read and spell it? Recite it. (出示leaves单词卡片, 并粘在黑板上) T: Look at the leaves in winter? Do the trees have any leaves in winter? (The trees don’t have any leaves in winter.) (板书 The trees ------ leaves in ------.) T: How about in spring? Do the trees have any leaves in spring? Are the leaves new or old? (The trees have new leaves in spring.) T: What

color

are summer leaves? (green) We know summer leaves can make us cool. So, trees have cool, green leaves in summer. T: Look at the leaves in autumn. Do the trees have cool, green leaves in autumn? The trees lose their leaves in autumn. “lose”, what’s the meaning? Here, it means “失去”. What color are fall leaves? (yellow, orange, red) T: Class, different seasons, different trees and leaves. Can you say the differences about the leaves ?

【设计意图】：在对话中自然的引出本课新单词并理解了不同季节中不同树叶如何表达，学生在创设的语境中使用语言，师生对话，描述季节的特征。图片教学具有直观性，学生学习兴趣高，有利于培养学生借助图片表达语言的能力。

2.Listen and read No1. 3 .Weather of the four seasons. (出示不同季节的天气，让学生说句子。）

（1） How’s the weather in winter? (cold and snowy) (板书 The weather is ------- in ------.) In spring? (warm and rainy) How’s the weather in summer? Is the weather hot and sunny in autumn? T: How about in spring? In winter? In autumn? （学生边听边回答问题，让学生也互相问答，熟练表达）

4 .T: Now, take out your chart, please fill in the blanks of these three lines, the trees, the weather. Please just write down the key words. It’s OK. T: Who wants to show your chart?
