Teaching tools: multi-media Teaching procedures: I. Greetings T: Good morning, class. Ss: Good morning, teaching. T: Sit down, please. II. Lead-in T: Look at these sentences, do you know their meanings? (Show the sentences on the screen) 1.

God helps those who help themselves. (Ask several students to tell the meanings and correct them. Then try to explain the sentences.) T: The sentences like these we call them “Proverb”. (Show the

meaning of proverb on the screen) Learning the proverbs can help with your English a lot. So today we’ll learn some more proverbs. III. New lesson 1. Let’s watch a short video. Can you guess what the story tells us? (Watch the video carefully.)
