Teaching Procedure: Step1.Warming-up (1)

Greetings T:Good morning, boys and girls. How are you? Ss: I am fine, and you ? T: I am happy today. I am so happy that I want to sing a song for you. (2)

Teacher sings a song of Where are you from?

Show the pictures of Xinyang and our school, teacher talks about the changes of Xinyang and our school. Review the comparative of adjective. （借助问候及歌曲开始课堂教学，活跃气氛。同时选用与本课内容紧密结合的图片，也为新知的呈现埋下伏笔，自然导出shadow这一关键词。）

Step 2.Reading 1.

Students watch the shadows and guess. (2)

Students read the story first time, and try to answer the question. What’s this story about？
