1.通过游戏环节和自由讨论的环节,重点帮助学生复习本册书前三个单元中所学的数字类单词:one, two, three, ..., twelve.并在一定的基础上进行大数字的扩展。

2.能够通过本节课的学习,巩固并熟练使用简单的询问班级、年龄以及时间的交际用语:I’m in Class Three, Grade Three. How old are you? I’m nine. What time is it? It’s ten o’clock. 并扩展一些除了整点以外时间的说法,如:It’s ten past ten.

3.通过参与教学活动,使学生在日常生活中运用所学语言,获得积极的情感体验,了解日常生活中服务电话的号码,如若遇到紧急情况,需要拨打110等求助电话。

正式上课前,与学生进行自然的交流,询问天气、打招呼等,帮助学生快速融入课堂,创造语言氛围,为后面的交流、使用语言做铺垫

Introduce a magic school to students.

Look, this is a magic school. It’s very big and mysterious. Do you know the school’s name? Yes! It’s Hogwarts. It’s a magic school. Let’s see who studies in this school.

Show Harry Potter’s picture to students. Let students guess who he is.

T: Oh, he is Harry Potter. Let’s greet with him, OK?

S: Nice to see you./ Pleased to meet you.

T: Who wants to introduce yourself to him?

S: Hello. Harry. I’m .... I’m nine. I’m in Class Three, Grade Three. Nice to see you! Harry Potter invites us to his magic school, do you want go with him? Before that, Sorting Hat will divide us into new classes, are you ready for going to a new class? Let’s pick a card from your groups.

展示哈利波特的图片,让学生自然地与之打招呼,并向哈利介绍自己,在自然的交流中复习巩固所学语言,之后设置本课情境:哈利邀请我们一起去他的学校,在那之前,分院帽要对我们进行重新分班,让学生一起抽取卡片

并在小组中讨论,练习询问班级的语言。

填写机票的环节,既让学生练习了简单的询问姓名、年龄、班级的交际用语,也是对如何正确书写所学单词的一个复习。
