教学内容：

三年级下册

Unit 5 How old are you?

Story time 二、教学目标：

1.能听懂、会说以下交际用语，并能运用所学交际用语询问年龄。How old are you? I’m… Here you are要求读音正确，语调自然。特别要注意课文中出现的数字单词的正确读音。

2.能正确地理解并朗读对话内容，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试表演对话。

3.培养学生运用所学英语进行交际的意识和勇气。

三、教学重点：

能听懂会说以下日常交际用语，并能运用所学交际用语询问年龄：How old are you? I’m… Here you are。能听懂会读lovely, two, ten, eight, nine等。

四、教学难点：

能在情境中初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语。

五、教学道具：

卡片，CD，玩具及PPT 六、教学过程：

Step 1 Free talk Show Mickey to the students: Do you know him?(由PPT首页引出人物) Let’s say hello to Mickey. Mickey says hello to the students and introduces himself: I’m five. How old are you? Learn and practice the sentences. Step 2 Chant Say a chant《How old are you?》

Step 3 Story time 1.

T: Now Mickey is in the Toy Museum. Do you want to go and have a look? Look, listen and count: How many children are there in the Toy Museum? (Three) 2.

Watch and fill in the blanks. (Learn ‘nine’) 3.

Read and find the numbers. (Learn ‘two’ and ‘eight’) 4.

Read after the tape.

Read it together and in groups. 6.

Act it out. 7.

Practice in pairs,. Imagine our classroom is the Toy Museum then try to make a new dialogue. Step 4 Games Look and find the numbers. Step 5 Ticking time Step 6 Thinking time How do we know the ages of the trees and fish. Step 7 Homework 1.

Do a survey about your friends’ ages.
