Lesson 15: What’s your favourite food?

三年级的孩子们具有好奇、好活动、爱表现、善模仿等特点。他们喜欢新鲜事物,对陌生语言的好奇心能激起他们对外语的兴趣。他们的记忆力好,形象思维好、模仿力、可塑性强。然而,他们还不能很好的控制情绪,集中注意力,容易开“小差”,这就需要教师科学的引导,创造良好的情境,充分信任学生,调动一切学生的学习积极性,增强学生的学习兴趣,让学生做到自觉学习,从而提高学生素质。

一、教学目标:

1. 知识目标:(1)学生能听懂、会说、认读和书写下列词汇:chicken, fruit, vegetable, like. (2)学生能理解和口头使用下列用语:①What’s your favourite food? ② My favourite food is...... ③ I like ...... ④I don’t like......

2、能力目标

(1)用所学的新单词运用到新句型中,得到双向学习。

(2)在游戏中用英语进行简单的交际,能通过交流知道他人介绍自己喜爱或不喜爱的食物.

3、情感目标:

(1)通过调查学生喜爱的食物, 指导他们养成健康的饮食观念。

(2)激发学生的学习动机和学习兴趣,在练说语言的过程中,培养学生的团结协作精神和与他人交往的能力。

三、教学重难点:

1、教学重点: 学生能听、说、读、写单词chicken, fish, fruit, vegetables. 并能正确表达I like...... I don’t like ......

2、教学难点:学会使用句子:What’s your favourite food? My favourite food is......

多媒体课件、录音机

五、教学过程:

一、Warm-up and review

Step1. Sing “Are you hungry?”

(设计意图:播放歌曲,可以营造轻松活泼的学习气氛)

Step 2. Free talk.

Are you hungry/thirsty? Would you like some ......?

(设计意图:通过Free talk对前面所学内容进行了复习,同时拉近了师生之间的距离,增进了感情。)

二、New concepts

Step1. Watch the pictures and learn the new concepts.

1. Show some grass.

T: would you like some grass?

S: ......

T: Who likes grass?

(The students say the names of the animals)

Show some pictures of the animals and some kinds of food.. Look at the pictures and learn the new words : “like”“don’t like......” (Show happy face for “like” and show the sad face for “don’t like” )

(设计意图:利用动物喜欢的或不喜欢的食物导入新课,学习新知,不仅能激起孩子们的学习兴趣,让孩子们在轻松地氛围中获取知识,同时也对前面的内容进行了回顾)

2.Show a picture of the fish

T: The cats and the bears like to eat fish.

S: .......

(Show a picture of the chicken)

T: What’s this?

S: Some chicken.

T: Do you like to eat chicken?

S: .......

(Show a picture of the vegetables )

T: Look! There are some vegetables. Do you like to eat vegetables?

S: .......

(Lead the students answer with “Yes, I like......” or “No, I don’t like......”)

T: Some students like fish, and some students like chicken or vegetables. What food do I like? Can you guess?

The students will guess with “You like ......”

T: I don’t like fish, I don’t like chicken, and I don’t like vegetables,too. (Show the sentences “I don't like ......” on the PPT and read it . The students follow along) (设计意图:利用课件展示图片,自然引出本课重点单词。并在师生的问答中学习句型I like...... I don't like......,并通过让孩子们猜的形式呈现出句型I don't like......让学生在真实的语境中学习新知)

3. Show the pictures of bananas, apples and oranges.

T: (Point to each fruit in the picture) I like bananas apples and oranges. Bananas, apples and oranges are fruit.. So I can say I like fruit.

Show the word “fruit” and the sentence “I like ......”on the PPT. And ask the students to read the word and the sentence a few times.

T: Ok, class. I like fruit. Look at the blackboard, there are many pictures on it . Which one is the fruit? Now let’s find it .

(Look at each picture and spell each new words)

(设计意图:利用旧知引出新知,并利用句型I like......中练习了新单词fruit,做

到句不离词,词不离句)

Step2. Practice

1. Show some pictures of the food and practice the new sentences.

T: I don’t like fish, I don’t like chicken, and I don’t like vegetables. I like fruit . What food do you like? What food do you not like?Now please introduce to everyone. Ask students to introduce the food they like and the food they don't like.

(设计意图:通过让学生介绍自己喜欢或不喜欢的食物,既操练了句型,也操练了重点单词。)

2. Listen and finish the chart.

(Show Jenny’s picture)

T: This is Jenny. What food does Jenny like? What food does Jenny not like? Now let’s listen and then finish the chart .

Play the audiotape for part 1 and the students follow along. Then ask volunteers to answer the questions.

(设计意图:通过听音完成表格,既是对前面所内容的巩固,同时也锻炼孩子们的听力)

Listen to the tape again, Ask the students to repeat.

(设计意图:听音跟读,培养学生良好的语音语调)

Step3. Learn part 3

T: (Show some dumplings.) Look! There are some vegetables. I like fruit. I like dumplings, too. But my favourite food is dumplings.

(Show the word “favourite”and show a big happy face below the word. Read the word, the students follow along. Ask volunteers to explain “favourite”.)

(设计意图:出示自己喜欢的两种食物,通过对比引出单词“favourite”并利用笑脸图片进行解释,学生很快就掌握了单词意思)

T: My favourite food is dumplings. (Show the sentence on the PPT. Then read it and ask the students to repeat.)

2.The students talk about their favourite food.

Show some pictures of the food and the question "What's your favourite food?" Ask volunteers to read the question.And the others will answer with "My favourite food is ......"

(设计意图:提出问题让学生互相提问并回答,不仅提起孩子的注意力,而且发挥了学生自主学习的能力)

Show some pictures of animals and the pictures of colours.Then ask the students: T: What's your favourite animal? / What's your favourite colour?

(Ask volunteers to answer the questions)

(设计意图:通过让学生说出自己最喜欢的动物和颜色,对favourite进行了拓展练习)

3. Practice the sentence "I like......" "I don't like ......" "My favourite food is ......"

Look at the pictures and write "I like......" "I don't like ......" "My favourite food is ......" on the paper. Then ask volunteers to read their sentences aloud.

4. Read and answer.

Ask the students to read the text ,then answer the questions.

A: What food does Li Ming like?

B: What food does Li Ming not like?

C: What's Li Ming's favourite food?

（设计意图：自读读课文，回答问题。在锻炼学生阅读能力的同时也培养了学生的自主学习的能力）

Step 4. Summary

Make a survey.

Ask your partners these questions and write their answers.

（采用调查的形式，对本课进行了巩固和总结，同时实现了语言学习与语言运用的有机结合）

六、Homework
