一、教学目标：

2、全体学生能运用词汇there are， there is ，chicken, pig 3、全体学生能运用There are /there is这类语句来描述照片或图片图画场景。

四、教学过程：

（一）Warming up and lead in 1. Greeting 2.Show the Ss photos to all, and ask Ss to say sth about them,Using “There is a girl/ boy in the photo. She’s reading a book. He’s doing taijiquan. 3.Yesterday Lingling ,Amy and Sam they went to a see talent show ,they took some photos and let’s check what they have seen. 4. Show the three photos they took and ask Ss to pay attention to the number of the boys on the bike, and teach them to distinguish the difference between “there is ....and there are ”

5.Play the video and get the Ss to repeat. (二)Task presentation Just now ,we saw Lingling ,Amy and Sam, but Where is Sam? Where did he go?.Now Sam is going to share his pictures he took yesterday, and let’s try to find out the answers together. （三）Text learning 1. Let’s learn our text. Play the video and ask Ss to find what animals they can see. Show the new words and teach the Ss to read them in different ways. 2.

Then ask Ss to work in pairs to find the No. of each animal and try to use the sentence pattern “There is a .../ There are .... .”to make a statement. 3.

Watch the video again and list out the four questions What's the panda eating ? What are the chickens eating ? What’s the bear eating? What are the pigs eating? Teamwork : find the answers to the above questions in groups. Watch the video for the last time and Ss try to follow it. 4.Let’s Game : one student in the group pick a number , group members finish the task then they can get the point. （四）Group work： Story time We have two different situations. One is in the park, the other is in the zoo.Each group choose a topic. One student is going to use the target languages to tell what

the other members act,and the rest are going to do the actions. （五）Homework 1、跟读模仿课文录音 2、Make a new dialogue according to this lesson and act it out.(结合本课学习内容创编一个新对话并将其表演出来）
