The teaching content and analysis 1). The content Review words and expressions of Unit4 Book2: contain, mercy, succeed, appreciate, hunt, reserve, affect, employ, habitat, harm, come into being, threaten, die out, in peace, in danger( of), in relief, pay attention to, protect…from ，

decrease and so on. What I want to emphasize in this class is to learn the key points of three of them: appreciate, succeed, come into being. 2). The analysis In the first round of review, our task is to remember as many words and expressions as we can. Meanwhile, we must get the hang of some important language points of some key words and expressions. Therefore, we can acquire more English skills. In this unit, we need to know more words and expressions about Wildlife Protection. Besides, we must master some language points about contain, succeed, mercy, appreciate, harm, affect, die out and come into being and so on. What’s more, through this review, students can realize the emergency of wildlife protection.

Thus, during this class, we mainly explore the usages of three of them: appreciate, come into being, succeed. The students are expected to use words and expressions more effectively. 2.

Learning English well is on the basis of having good command of large quantities of words and expressions. In this class, We will explore some strategies about learning and remembering words and expressions in the first round of review. First, we have divided words and expressions into two parts before class, one part of which is only to memorize the basic meanings, the other part is focused on the usages. Second, we need students have a good knowledge about language points in sentences or passages. Then students are led to use the language skills to solve some practical problems in the exam. Last but not least, we aim at forming students’ correct emotional and living attitudes. 3.

The teaching key points and the teaching difficulties and analysis

The teaching key points and the teaching difficulties. Some strategies about learning and remembering words and expressions in the first round of review and master language points in sentences or passages. 2) The analysis Learning English well is on the basis of having a good command of large quantities of words and expressions. But most students can’t find the effective way to remember and use them. So, we focus our teaching key points and difficulties on the strategies about remembering and using them in sentences or passages in this class. 4.

The diagnosing analysis of teaching problems During the class, students may have difficulties in remembering all the words and expressions in this Unit, so the teacher help them divide them into two sorts to remember them more effectively. They may also have difficulties in remembering the words and expressions by reciting, so the teacher gives them reciting part and check this task at the beginning of class. Then, students may have the difficulties in the using parts like tense, person and number, translation, so the teacher give them some task like discussion, exercises , presentation and T-S or S-S evaluation to inquire the usages of them. 5. The procedure of teaching Step1. Lead-in Design Purpose:

To get the students brainstorm the words and expressions about Wildlife Protection , get a hang of the skill to remember the words by dividing them into two parts(看形识意，知形善用) and know the importance of Wildlife Protection.

T and Ss’ activities: The teacher shows a video to the students and then asks them to repeat the words and expressions appeared in the video and then ask them to go to blackboard to divide words and expressions into two parts . Students repeat the words and expressions in the video and divide them quickly , then put up the word cards on the blackboard. At last, read them as loudly as they can. Step2. Group inquiry learning Design Purpose: To make students find out the key points of each words and expressions in sentences. T and Ss’ activities:

Students are required to read the sentences and feel the key points by themselves, then discuss them in the groups and do a summary about them. The teacher give students some guidance and supplements.
