Unit 2 Animals at the Zoo教学设计

教材分析：

本课是冀教版小学英语三年级下册第二单元整合课第一课时，本单元的教学内容围绕

Animals at the Zoo 这个主题进行，让学生了解更多的动物名称并能对动物的主要特征（高矮、胖瘦、大小）等进行简单的描述。除此之外，学生在本单元要掌握where 和what询问动物们的住所和食物。本单元是上单元运用英语谈论动物的巩固和延续，为今后学习相关动物的话题做好了铺垫，起着承上启下的作用。

教学问题分析：

学习本课的学生为三年级同学，他们对外语有强烈的好奇心和浓厚的兴趣，模仿能力较强，记忆力好，有用英语进行交流的欲望，并且勇于参与有趣的课堂教学活动。对于小动物学生是比较熟悉和喜欢的，抓住这个特点可以充分调动学生学习的兴趣，从而达到预期的教学目的。

教学策略与方法

创设情景，通过猜词、听声音等教学方法让学生学习单词和句型，做游戏、唱歌等活动使学生在体验、感知、参与、实践的学习方式中构建语音、知识结构。

教学目标

1.学生能掌握的单词：zoo/monkey/elephant/panda/tiger/wolf/snake/bear 2.学生能理解的单词：fat/thin/small/big/long/short/forest/tree/banana 3.能够在语境中理解：live 4.能够理解的句型：(1) Where do they live?They live....

(2) How many....are there?There are....(number).......

(3) What do they eat? They eat.... 5 学生通过小组合作来完成指示牌，能够运用简单的句型介绍小动物。

教学重难点：

重点：

1 学生能够在语境中理解单词，并且能够运用简单的句型介绍小动物。

2 通过小组合作完成指示牌。

难点：

学生能够运用本节课所学知识，同时联系第一单元所学动物的单词和句型来介绍小动物。

教学过程

Greeting：

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Hu. T: How are you today? Ss: I am fine,thank you. And you? T: I am fine,too. Warm-up：

Sing a song together.-------at the zoo(Flash) 设计意图：通过歌曲，调动学生积极性，引出本课主题。

Lead- in

Ask a question about Christmas: What can you see at the zoo? 设计意图：引出本课标题，学习单词animal/zoo Presentation Step1:Show a picture about Children’s Day. T:What is this ? It’s a picture about Children’s Day. How do you feel? Ss:I feel happy. T: So let’s go to the zoo together,ok? Ss: Ok. T:What is this ? This is a sign. Today let’s follow the sign to know something about the

animals,then make a sign by ourselves. Are you ready?

Ss: Ok. 设计意图：创设情境，激发学生的兴趣。

Step2：Learn the words

(1)guess:bear---fat/thin

(2) listen to the sound ,then guess: tiger----How many tigers are there? There are two tigers.

(3)show the picture: Tigers live in the forest.

(4)show a picture ,then ask a question: What animals live in the grass?----Snake.

(5)guess : It’s nose is long.---elephant- --big/small

(6)show a picture ,then ask a question:What animals like eating bananas?---- Monkey

(7) show a picture:Where do monkeys live? In a tree. 设计意图：通过不同的方法让学生整体感知第二单元关于动物的知识。

Step3：Practice:

Show a picture of five animals(bear/tiger/elephant/snake/monkey),then say something

about them with the students together. 设计意图：练习所学单词和句型

Step4：Play a game :

Teachers show some words by the ppt ,students read them as quickly as they can. 设计意图：通过游戏方式练习所学内容，调动孩子的积极性。

Step5：Practice: Guess

One student should stand back to the screen,others describe the animal, then

guess,and learn the words：panda /wolf Step6：Make the introduction

设计意图：运用所学内容，通过小组合作方式来输出语言。

Step7：Homework

1.Know more about the animals by internet(因特网)、TV or books and so on.

2 Listen and read the text.
