一、课程类型

Listening & Speaking 二、教材分析

本单元的中心话题是“英语幽默”，教材中不少素材是短小、有趣的故事（如Listening部分），本课时是本单元的Using LanguageⅡ部分，利用故事素材，提高学生对高考英语听说考试中Part C故事复述的能力。帮助学生构建故事框架，培养学生获取、处理信息并进行语言输出的能力和逻辑思维、发散性思维。

三、学情分析

经过一个多学期的学习，高一学生已逐渐适应高中的学习和要求，阅读、表达能力有了一定的提高，但听说的能力还比较薄弱，甚至有畏惧心理，高考英语听说考试中Part C故事复述是本阶段学生们的学习难点。

四、教学目标

（一）认知目标

1.通过听力理解故事内容；

2.把握听说考试中故事复述的题型特征和答题方向。

（二）技能要求

1.学生能利用关键词和梗概对故事进行预测，提高发散性思维。

2.学生提高听力水平和速记能力，能提炼故事的框架，提高获取、分析和处理信息的能力和逻辑思维；

3.学生能完整、流利地复述故事，提高口头表达能力和逻辑思维。

（三）情感目标

1.减轻学生对故事复述的畏惧心理，增强学生开口说英语的信心；

2.培养学生合作、探究精神。

五、教学重难点

（一）教学重点

1.掌握故事的大意、框架和表达的深层含义；

2.培养学生的口头表达能力，能对故事进行完整的复述；

3.培养学生的思维能力。

（二）教学难点

如何使学生掌握听说考试中故事复述的答题技巧，

引导学生进行信息抓取、提炼框架，降低理解难度，使学生积极进行故事复述；如何培养学生进行发散性思维和逻辑思维，使学生减少对英语的畏惧感，乐于参与，敢于表达。

While retelling: Retell the story fluently and clearly. It was a warm and lively morning. The streets were crowded and everyone was hurrying on their way to work. A poor blind man was sitting in front of a large office building as many people passed by. By his feet there was a sign that read: “I am blind, please help.”A kind-hearted lawyer was walking by the blind man on his way to work. He stopped and started to watch the blind man for a while. The lawyer saw the people walking by seldom stopped, and the blind man only had a few coins in his hat. After a short while, the lawyer put his hand in his pocket, took out all the money he had and put it in the blind man’s hat. Then without asking the blind man, he took the sign, turned it around, and wrote a new message. He then put the sign back and quietly left. Later that afternoon the lawyer returned and found that the blind man’s hat was full of

money.T he blind man recognized his footsteps and asked, “did you change my sign?”What did you write on it?”

The lawyer answered simply that the sign now said, “It is spring now, but I

can’t see it.”

Step 4. Presentation (1)

Encourage Ss to share their notes with their partners and retell the story to each other. (2)

Invite students to come to the blackboard to show their notes and retell the story. Step 5. More tips

Use personal pronouns correctly. (2) Use proper transitional words. (3) Pay attention to the title, the key points. (4) Pay attention to the voice, the speed and the intonation. Step 6. Competition 1.

In groups of four, listen to a story and retell it to the partners. 2.

Each group choose the best student as the representative. 3.

Ask some representatives to compete in retelling the story. 4.

Ask the whole class to choose the best one and make some comments.

梗概：一群孩子经常到Henry住的街道上踢足球，制造很多噪音。Henry休息不好，所以他想出了一个办法。

Henry lives in a clean street in Green City. Every weekend, Alan and his friends play soccer in the street. The children make too much noise. Henry can’t have a good rest. Therefore, he decides to do something to stop them. One day, Henry tells the children that he will pay them 10 dollars each weekend to watch them play soccer in the street. He says, “I am so glad to see you play soccer happily here. Please continue.” Alan and his friends are surprised to hear Henry’s words.

The first weekend after that, the boys go to play soccer near Henry’s house on time, and go away happily with 10 dollars. On the second weekend, they also get 10 dollars for playing soccer. On the third weekend, Henry says he must spend his money on his grandson’s school things. So he only gives the children 4 dollars. The next weekend, Henry says he has a cold and has to buy his medicine with lots of money. He only gives them 1 dollar. After that, Alan and his friends don’t play soccer in that street any more.

Go over what is learned today and practice retelling two more stories.
