Intensive reading, reciting games and exercises Teaching process Step1

Use a reciting game to encourage the students to read carefully. First, show the students how to play the game.

Divide the students into teams to compete. Then ask them to prepare. During the preparation, I will be walking around waiting to help them. Step2

Be a judger for the game and give each team their points. Praise them. Step3

Summarize what we will have learned. Then ask the students to do some exercises to see how well they have understood. If time permitting, ask a student to play the game alone. Key points: Intensive reading.

Encourage the students to read more carefully through the competition. Intensive reading is important for new English learners. What’s more, a positive attitude, combined with willingness to dig deeper will do much to determine how well they will do in their study, obviously, reciting is a good way to the goal. Difficult points

Some students may have trouble in the reciting games. How to help each students move forward without anyone left behind is my usual difficulty. So I organize them to do teamwork to help each other. Most importantly, a few students lack confidence and motivation in learning English. How to cheer them up to learn English is what I will try. It remains to be seen whether I can make it. Stretch Yuanmingyuan in Beijing has the similar history. Ask students to discuss about it, which will help them improve awareness of cultural relic protection.
