背景知识：

1、教材分析：

本课是冀教版小学英语六年级下册第四单元第三课，Li Ming的加拿大之旅即将结束，于是

Jenny 和Danny给Li Ming精心策划了一场意外的告别晚会。主要通过打电话邀请Steven来参加聚会来让学生学会电话用语，练习口语交际能力。

2、学情分析

1．知识基础：

绝大部分学生掌握的词汇、语句还很少，缺少语言基础，表达的句子也较单一，对任务的完成还会有一定的难度。

2．认知心理：

一般都有较强的求知欲和表现欲，但小学基础参差不齐，因此部分学生会有不自信，害怕表达等思想顾虑。

3．语言特色：

该年龄段的学生语言表达能力有所欠缺，但有很强语言模仿能力，有待培养知识的扩展和运用的能力。

教学目标

1、知识目标：

a.准确熟练拼读以下单词：early、late、begin、tell、party

b.掌握短语：call sb.（给某人打电话）；answer the phone(接电话)

c.掌握相关电话用语：接电话的人第一句话说“hello”，相当于汉语中的“喂”；

打电话的人要自我介绍，电话用语“我是某某”应该说：“It is ...calling.”或This is ... speaking. d.理解并熟练朗读课文。

2、能力目标：

学会用英语打电话，培养学生用英语表达的能力。

3、情感目标：

培养学生对英语的兴趣；通过和伙伴之间的交流，让学生珍惜友谊、关心朋友、关爱他人；敢于用英语表达自己的真实感受。

教学重难点

1．重点：

a.词汇：early、late、party b.短语：

call sb（给某人打电话）；“It is ...calling”、“This is...speaking.”

2．难点：

A）学会电话用语“hello”和“It is ...calling”、“This is...speaking.”

B）学会用英语打电话。

●教学过程

Step1、Warm-up 1. Greeting

T: Hello! Boys and girls!

Ss: Hello! Teacher ! T: How are you today ? S: I’m fine , thanks , and you? T: I’m fine , too . Thank you !

2、Let’s sing 教师播放59页歌曲，师生齐唱。

(设计意图：通过师生的亲切交谈，减少学生的学习压力，使学生轻松愉快的融入到英语学习氛围中。) Step2 Review 复习before和after 教师出示Jenny 的生活日程安排：让学生根据图片信息，回答教师提问：

例如：T: What does Danny do before / after lunch ? Step3、Presentation

Learn New Words

1、出示表盘，轴上一点代表英语课开始的时间，在表盘左侧写上before,右侧写上after，引导学生对话如下：

T: Who can tell me “When does our English class begin?”

Ss: It begins at 8:20.

T: Right.请一位同学站在before下面。Look! Here is LiuRuncai. He came before 8: 20, so he is early for our English class. (在黑板上before下面写上单词early，如图所示：) before 8:20

T: Can you guess the meaning of “early”?

Ss: :Yes, 早的

T: Yes, you are so clever. (指着讲台上的同学)Is he early?

2、请另一位同学站在after下面。

T: Look！Here is SunHuanran. He came after 8:20, so he is late for our English class.

3.出示一张同学们办聚会时的照片。

T: Look at the picture, class. This is a party. (黑板上书写party，如图所示：)

教师领读early、late、party三个新单词，请个别学生示范，然后让全体学生齐读，并拼读一遍。

（设计意图：师生互动，为学生创造一个轻松愉悦的英语学习氛围，在语境中学会并掌握单词。）

Focus On The Test

1、Listen to the tape and answer the teacher’s question:

How many people are coming to the party?

Who are they ? （听录音，回答问题。）

快速默读课文，给出示的图片排序。

（1）教师播放本课课件，请学生跟读，注意模仿语音语调。

（2）教师讲解课文，要求学生掌握以下英语知识：

2、请2-3组同学到讲台上表扬对话，教师给予鼓励性的评价，并及时纠正错误。

（设计目的：鼓励学生通过所学知识，创造语境，提高口语交际能力和语言表达能力。）

Step5、Consolidation and extension

1、假设班中某一同学要过生日，他想邀请朋友们参加聚会，请同学生自由结组，编写一个打电话的片段，并表演出来。（教师可以给一些参考句型，也可以给出一段打电话的参考段落，请学生补全对话。主要靠学生自己选择，不强迫学生选择哪一种方式。）

（设计目的：给与学生自由发挥的空间，鼓励学生积极参与。）

1.课下2人一组练习打电话，内容为“邀请某个朋友参加聚会”。

2.做同步练习册相关练习题。
