学情分析

Grade 3 student age small, natural disposition is active, like visual image thinking, the elaborate design of need teachers in the classroom teaching process.They already have a certain English learning method, has accumulated a certain amount of vocabulary, under the guidance of teachers, the picture can understand the general content of the story, also can answer the teacher's questions and more like English stories, and willing to participate in acting, can produce certain effect to English study interest。

教学重点: The food vocabulary in this unit and the sentences （May I use it?

教学难点: Understand the content of the story and the spirit of helpfulness.

教学过程

一.Class opening 1.Greetings

T:How are you？

Ss:Fine ，thanks.

T:Nice to see you again.

Ss:Nice to see you ,too. 2.Review

⑴T: I have some food .Let's have a look . （Write down "Let's have a look " on the blackboard and learn it .）

Show the word-cards of food to read them one by one .（For example: vegetables,soup,chicken, noodles,fish,rice,meat,dumplings，bread,eggs,hot dog,donut…）

⑵Show the pictures , ask some students to read them one by one. Then the teacher puts them on the blackboard one by one.

Look at the pictures and answer the questions.（For example: This is …

What would you like? Would you like some _____ .

Here you are. What do you have ?）（Write down "I have some ___ ." on the blackboard.）

（简单的问候拉近与学生之间的距离，在复习单词的同时，深化上升到句子，在练习过程中深入对单数和复数的了解,为下文做准备。）

二.New class 1.Reveal the subject. ⑴Play the game. What's missing?

Give a guide: Look at the words of food on the blackboard to guess what's missing. The students guess the word "soup". Learn "mak soup". (游戏过后，让学生猜出"汤"这个单词，很自然地过渡到下面要讲的内容。) ⑵T: I want to make soup. （Write down "make soup" on the blackboard.）But I have no food . There are no food.（Write down ""There are no food ."on the blackboard.）no vegetables ,no fish ,no chicken, no noodles, I'm not happy, I'm sad, but a little boy can make soup with a stone.

Show the object to teach the word and the phrases:

⑶Reveal the subject. The students repeat. （通过做汤需要食物，引出小男孩儿做汤，需要石头，提前接触石头这个单词，进一步引出魔法石课题。）

2.Look and listen.

⑴Play CD of the story for twice. The students look and listen. （这个环节的设计，首先给学生对故事的内容有大概的了解。）

⑵Play PPT and teach the words and sentences.
