教材分析：

本课为冀教版三年级起点第八册第一单元第六课，本套教材是今年刚刚改版的新教材。第一单元主要围绕有关运动的话题展开，本课讲的是足球运动员贝利成长为“一代球王”的故事，通过本课的学习激励孩子们要向贝利学习，坚持追求自己的梦想，无论过程有多艰难，都不要放弃，梦想最终会成为现实，正所谓“有志者，事竟成”。

学情分析：

本课的教学对象是小学六年级的学生，他们从六年级开始学习英语，已经掌握了一些英语基础知识，有了自主学习的能力。本课的目标要求学生能理解这个故事，回答关于故事的问题，并用自己的话复述故事。

教学目标：

1、学生能在老师的帮助下和图片的提示下理解这个简单故事。

2、学生能问答关于这个故事的问题。

3、学生要用自己的话复述这个故事。

Pre-reading. 1.

Greetings. T：

【设计意图: 课前师生亲切的问候可以拉近师生之间的距离。】2. Review. T: What did you do yesterday? 学生需要用过去时来回答，然后复习几个动词的过去式。

3. Lead-in. T:Dou you know the World Cup?When is the World Cup? T: It is a competition about football, it is held every four years. T: Do you like football?This lesson I will tell you a story, this story is about a famous football player, who likes football very much. 【设计意图：通过世界杯和足球引出本课的学习内容。】

While-reading. 1. (屏幕上显示第一幅图片) T：Who is this？What is he doing? S: This is a boy. He is playing the can(易拉罐)。

出示易拉罐和瓶子的图片，让学生认识can 和bottle。

Task1 让学生自己阅读第一部分，然后找出下面问题的答案。

T：Why did he use boxes and bottles as his footballs？

（屏幕上显示问题，让学生读故事第一部分，找出问题的答案。）

S: Because his parents couldn’t buy him a football. Task 2 让学生听第一部分录音，同时圈出每句话里面的动词的过去式。

然后教师领着同学们用这些动词的过去式复述第一段。

S: He is playing football? The man is a coach. 出示教练的图片，让学生认识单词coach。

Task1 让学生自己阅读第二部分，然后找出下面问题的答案。

T: Why did the coach give him a football as a gift? （屏幕上显示问题，让学生读故事第二部分，找出问题的答案。）

S: Because he thought that the boy would be a good player. Task 2

让学生听第二部分录音，同时圈出每句话里面的动词的过去式。

（saw, thought, would, gave, played）.. 然后教师领着同学们用这些动词的过去式复述第二部分。

3. (屏幕上显示第三幅图片) Task1 让学生自己阅读第三部分，回答下面的问题。

T: What did he do for his coach at Christmas time? （屏幕上显示问题，让学生读故事第三部分，找出问题的答案。）

S: He ran to the coach’s home and dug a hole in front of his house. 出示dig\dug, hole的词汇卡片，让学生了解这几个单词。

Task 2 让学生听第三部分录音，圈出每句话里面的动词的过去式。

（wanted, ran, dug, asked, said, was.）

然后教师领着同学们用这些动词的过去式复述第三部分。

4. (屏幕上显示第四幅图片) T: At last, the boy succeed!

Task1 让学生自己阅读第四部分，回答下面的问题。

T: How old was he when he won the World Cup? （屏幕上显示问题，让学生读故事第三部分，找出问题的答案。）

S: When he was 17 years old, he won the world Cup. Task 2 让学生听第四部分录音，圈出每句话里面的动词的过去式。

（asked, won, was.）

然后教师领着同学们用这些动词的过去式复述第四部分。

【设计意图：让学生带着问题读故事，有助于培养学生自主学习的能力。利用每段话中关键动词的过去式，让学生们跟着复述课文，锻炼孩子们的口语表达能力。听录音为学生提供地道的语音、语调，锻炼学生的听力和发音。】

T: Do you know who the boy is?

S: He is Pele—the world famous football player! 【设计意图：介绍贝利的基本情况，让同学们进一步地了解贝利。】
