一、教材分析

本课时是湘少版小学英语六年级上册Unit7 What can I do?A、B部分。本单元的话题是帮助老人，本单元的特点是与实际生活相符合。本教材要求学生通过这一单元的学习，能够流利地表达自己如何帮助老人。

二、学情分析

六年级的学生已经有了三年的英语学习经验，应该说已经具有了一定的语言基础，同时也具备了一些语言知识的运用能力，能够完成老师在课堂安排的对话内容。

三、教学目标

1.知识目标：能听、说、认读下列单词及短语an old woman,help old people on the road,make tea,make cakes等。能听懂，理解Part A文章。

能运用所学句型

“What can I do? I can......”表达自己能为老人做什么事。

2.能力目标：能运用所学句型“What can I do?I can...... ”表达自己能为他人提供什么帮助。

3.情感目标：培养学生尊老爱幼的品德。

四、教学重点

1.能听懂、会说、读、写单词和短语an old woman,help the old people on the road,make tea,make cakes等。

2.能用“What can I do?I can.....”表达自己能为他人提供帮助。

五、教学过程

Step1:Warm-up and lead-in

教师用图片快速出示一些家务活的图片，学生快速说出对应的词组，旨在为本课表达“I can.....”句型的操练做铺垫。

Step2:Presentation 1.

呈现一个老奶奶的图片，引出单词an old woman,再呈现一个老爷爷的图片，引出单词an old man,老师提问：Who are they? 学生：They are old people.板书old people并带读。

老师：Old people are very weak and slow.So,we should help them.呈现B部分单词，学习新短语。图片一：老师：Where are they? 学生：They are on the road.学习on the road.老师：What is the boy doing?学生：He is helping the old woman.学习词组：help old people on the road. 播放图片学习：make tea and make cakes. 老师：Look at this pictures,What is Peter doing? 学生：He is cleaning homes.学习短语clean their homes. 老师：Anne is singing.Singing can make people happy.学习：make them happy。

全班齐读单词。

Step3:Practise 学生通过刚刚学习的短语，进行问答对话。

Step4:Learn part A 1.

合上书，听录音，回答老师的问题。

Q1:What can Jane do? Q2: What can Lingling do? Q3:What can Anne do? Q4:What can Mingming do? Q5:What can Peter do? 2.

打开书，再听一遍录音，确认答案。

跟读文章，注意语音语调。

全班齐读。

Step5:Summary 老师：今天，我们学习了如何用英语表达能为他人提供帮助。我们一起再来齐读巩固一遍吧。

Step6：教学反思

本节课内容紧贴实际，整堂课学生的兴趣很大，课堂气氛浓厚，教学任务顺利完成。不足之处在于课堂中还没有充分发挥学生的主观能动性，练习时间也不是很充足。
