Teaching aims:

1、知识目标: 能够听、说、读、写动词词组: bought presents, rowed a boat, saw elephants, went skiing, went ice-skating.

2、能力目标: 能够用所学的语言介绍自己或采访他人的假期。

3、情感目标: 通过学习,培养学生热爱生活的情感。

能够听、说、读、写本课时的词组并能讨论自己或他人的假期。

Teaching difficult point:

1、读准和正确运用动词的原形或过去式。

2、谈论自己或他人的假期。

Teaching procedure:

Step 1: Warm up & revision

1、Greeting & Free talk

What are we doing? What do you do on the weekend? What did you do last day? 2、Let’s chant ( PEP Book 8 P26)

Step 2: Presentation

1、bought presents

A : Arouse interests:Zoom had fun and I had fun, too. I took a trip on my holiday. Where did I go?

T: Guess? I visited the Great Wall there.

T: Yes. Look! What’s this? It’s a gift. It’s a present, too.

I went to Beijing and came back with so many gifts.

They are for you .

T : Where did I buy the presents? Guess?

S1: You bought presents in Beijing.

B : The students make sentences with “bought presents”.

2、went ice-skating & went skiing

A、I took a trip to Beijing by plane. It was very cold there. I like sports.

I played on the ice. What did I do in Beijing? Guess?

B、Show the skiing tools and guess “What else did Miss Huang do the next day in

Beijing?

C、compare ice-skating and skiing

3、T: That’s my trip. I went ice-skating and skiing in Beijing. And I visited the Great Wall and Summer Palace. I bought presents for you ,too. I had a good time. What about your trip? Did you take a trip on your holiday?

4、rowed a boat & saw elephants

A、T: Where did you go? What did you do on your holiday?

S1: I went to Shantou. I took a picture with a boat.

T: Oh, you took a picture with a boat.

Did you row a boat?

Look! They rowed a boat , too.

B、Ss learn “ rowed a boat” & “saw elephants”

C、“What animals did you see at the zoo?

S:I saw pandas. I saw horses. I saw rabbits….

T:How cute they are!

Step 3: Practice

1、Read the phrases and chant

2、A game :Bingo

3、Say out the past form

4、Oral speaking:go- went- went skiing—I went skiing in the park

5、Interview your partner about his /her holiday

B、用本课的五个动词短语,用5--6句话写一写Amy的假期生活。
