We have a big family dinner “We have a big family dinner”是《新标准英语》（三年级起始）第三册第十模块第一课。本模块的教学内容是表达节日问候并描述过节时的风俗习惯。本课的课文情境是通过讨论一本关于春节的书，来介绍教材分析

关于春节的一些习俗。本课的重点是节日活动的介绍，课文主要运用一般现在时介绍春节的风俗习惯。这也是介绍事物常用的时态。本节课有一定的特色，在教学活动开展时应把重点放在节日信息的准确性上，不要过分强调语言的准确性。

本节课的学习对象为四年级学生，这个年龄段的学生通常关注的是和自己有密切联系的东西。因为寒假将至，春节也快到了，本节课谈论的春学情分析

节这一话题能够引起学生较多的注意，但是学生以前只学过一些食物单词，本课中较难的单词和短语从未学过。
