Free talk: look at the picture and use the sentences “ What are we going to…?”

3. Say something about the weather today: What’s the weather like today? Students answer. Then review the words about weather: snow rain sunny cold windy hot warm

Step2: Presentation 1.

lead-in Show the map about china and write down the title of this lesson: Module 2 Unit 2 It will rain in Beijing.

Then T asks : What tense? （underline “rain”）

Listen to the chant and underline the words after “will”: be then answer what tense they are? (Tell children: will+ do. For example: It will rain in Beijing.) 3.

Listen and answer the questions: What is the weather like in Beijing? What about Harbin? Dalian? Xi’an?

Look and repeat. 5. Ask some students to come to the front to point and say. Step3: practice and consolidation
