Part A:

entences:

What’s your favorite season?

Spring. It’s warm and windy. I can fly a kite in spring. Chant: about seasons’ colors.

Part B :

Let’s survey.

Yaoyao, what’s your favorite season?

Summer. I can swim in summer

Step 1 : Warm up

1 Review the chant 1 to review activities (swim, fly a kite make a snowman, make a model plane, ride a bike)

2 Sing the chant 2 to review weather (rainy, cloudy,sunny,windy)

3 Sing the chant 3 to review seasons( summer,winter,spring,autum) and weather ( hot,cool,cold,warm)

PS : Let Ss talk in pairs after each song. Step 2 : Presentation (part A)

1 Talk about the picture. Ask Ss the following questions: Who can you see? What can they do? What’s the season now? What’s the weather like?

2 Play the video

Give the following questions before watching.

What’s Lily’s favorite season? Why?

3 Read in pairs and then dub this dialogue.

4 Free talk.

5 Presentation.

6 Listen to the chant and learn the colors of each season. Step 3 Extension (Part B) 1 Give them an example how to survey with enough and clear sentences support on the blackboard. 2 Survey in pairs. 3 Survey in 4 students or in groups

PS : The more sentence Ss use, the more scores they can get. Different rewards. Step 4 : Homework. Review the chant and survey your family.
