Step 1

Warming up and Revision 1.Greetings. 2.Sing a song. (边唱边做，拉进师生间的情感距离，消除学生的紧张心理，为投入本课的学习，创造欢快的氛围,调动学生的学习热情。) 3.Count the numbers from 1 to 11. (引出课题，并为下文中出现的时间语句做铺垫。) Step 2 Presentation

1.Chant. (欢快的歌谣既起到活跃课堂气氛的作用，又能引出本课新知。) 2. Play a game. （用游戏渲染教学内容，学生兴趣浓厚。）

T: It’s time to play games. Let’s play a game now: “WOLF! WOLF! WHAT’S THE TIME?”

Show the picture and the word card. Ss should do the actions and say it quickly. （给学生以直观印象，多种感官参与学习，印象深刻。）

Say the phrase one by one.

在游戏中引出play basketball.

Show a basketball.

To explain basket+ball=basketball to the students. Do the action then say the phrase.
