教材解读

本课是小学译林英语3B第4单元第一课时，本模块主要是以问“在哪儿”展开话题。在Story time中，通过班上同学寻找小鸟的对话呈现了本单元的单词a bird，a desk，a chair，in, on，under，behind和新句型Where’s...? It’s...，在本课的学习中，要让学生在上课的情境中应用这些短语和句子，多给学生提供开口的机会，通过对话熟练掌握新的英语知识，增加学习过程的趣味性。

教学突破

描述事物所在的位置，这是与生活密切相关的话题，而英语学习的目的正是为了在真实生活中进行交流，教师在教学中一定要以日常生活为载体，用学生身边的、能和教学相关的材料进行教学，创设接近真实生活的情景。通过创设情境，综合运用所学语言进行交流，培养学生在实际生活中运用语言的交际能力。利用游戏和小组活动，激发学生积极思维，挖掘学生运用语言的能力，给学生自主发展和尽情展示的空间。

Step 3 Practice Show a picture and ask and answer. 1) T makes a model with a student. T: Where’s the pencil?

S: It’s in the pencil case. 2) Ss work in pairs. 3) Choose some groups, ask and answer. Step 4 New teaching 1) T: (show the first picture of the story) We are in the classroom, Mike and his friends are in their classroom too. And suddenly a bird is flying into the classroom from the window(Teach: bird ). It is flying here and there, and the students are trying to find it.

T: Where’s the bird? Let’s watch the cartoon and try to find the answer. 2) Open the book and read after the teacher. 3) Read in roles and then read together. 4) Sing a song “Where’s the bird?”

Step 5 Homework 1) 听课文录音，熟读本课单词和课文内容。

2) 利用自己身边的文具，同桌互相操练句型。
