一、

学生分析:

本课的教学对象是六年级的学生,学生已经学了将近四年的英语,已掌握了基本的听、说、读、写能力,已具备了一定的自学能力,学生之间学会了交流和合作,因此在教学中可以充分发挥他们的自主精神,培养他们的自学能力。但他们仍然具有儿童的一些基本特性,如好奇心强,好表现,善模仿等。游戏、活动是他们最乐于接受的学习方式。

教材分析:

本课的教材是PEP(Book7)第六单元The Story of Rain的第四课时,PEP教材的编写注重学生语言运用能力的培养,突出语言的实践性和交际性,同时也突出语言的真实性和实用性。本节课是词汇课,本课以三会句型“First, we have the seed.”为语境,听说读写四会单词:seed,soil,plant,sprout。其中plant 学生在Unit3中已经学过,seed, soil, sprout四会单词学生以前从未学过,因此我注意引导学生从熟悉的内容入手,逐步突破重难点。

三、教学目标:

1、知识目标:

A、基本能够听、说、读、写seed,soil,sprout,plant等单词。

B、基本能够理解“First, we have the seed.”等描述种植过程的句型,并尝试口头描述种植的过程。

2、能力目标:

A、学会如何种植植物。

B、学会观察事物,积极思考,并能运用所学知识获取信息。

C、提高运用语言的能力,增强学习英语的信心。

3、情感目标:

A、培养学生热爱自然,爱护花草树木的美好情感。

B、培养学生从小热爱劳动,保护环境的良好品德。

四、教学重点:

A、学生能听、说、读、写seed, sprout, soil, plant等单词。

B、基本能够运用First, we have the seed.

等句型描述植物种植的简单过程。

五、教学难点:

单词soil和

sprout的发音及描述种植的过程是本课的难点。

T: Hello! Boys and girls, I’m glad to meet you here. First I’ll

introduce myself. My first name is Zheng, so you can call me Miss..

Ss: Hello, Miss Zheng. 2

Free Talk:

(teacher asks questions to the students)

How are you today?

What’s your name?

What’s the weather like today? 3、Let’s chant:

T: Yes, today is a beautiful day. Shall we chant together?

S: OK! (教师播放Chant

Presentation

1 呈现新知seed,

plant T: Boys and girls, look! What is it? Ss:

种子。

T: Yes, it’s a seed. It is not a normal seed. It is a magic seed.

Now let’s see how magic it is. (教师播放FLASH故事—Jack and the beanstalk)

T: Wu…. Who is crying? Oh, there is a princess in the castle. She can’t get down. Boys and girls, can you help her get down? Let’s help her. Let’s be the hero today. OK?

五、教学流程

T: How to help her? We can plant. How to plant? Look! First we have

the seed. Then we have the soil. Put the seed in the soil. Water it. Put it under the sun. Wait for the sprout. Wait for the plant. Look! It’s a plant. (教师点击课件,课件显示种花步骤,教师演示种花步骤)

T: Let’s plant. OK? Ss: OK. T: If we can get the seed, soil, sun, watering can, sprout, plant,we can climb up to help the princess. OK? If you do a good job, I will give you these things.(教师说明本课的评价,并以课件方式呈现seed, soil, sun, watering can, sprout, plant)

S: OK!

2、教授单词seed T: OK! First we have the seed. (教师在黑板上画seed,带读单词,板书单词,学生拼读、书空)

T:

Look, What seed are they? (课件显示学生熟悉的水果种子—西瓜、豌豆、梨子、桃子、南瓜籽、柠檬籽让学生进行辨认)

Ss: (学生分别猜出它们是西瓜、苹果、梨子、桃子等种子) (评价:奖励种子)

3、教授单词soil T: Good!Boys and girls, think it over. Then what should we need?

Ss: 土壤。

T: Good! It’s soil. First we have the seed. (教师拿出种子)(然后教师拿出一盆装满泥土的花盆)Then we have the soil.(教师手指花盆里的土壤说:It’s soil.)(课件显示soil)(教师画出soil,并板书单词,学生拼读、书空)

(评价:奖励土壤)

T: Boys and girls, let’ s play the missing game.

(课件显示Game-What’s missing?)

T: Boys and girls, first we have the seed. Then we have the soil.

Then what should I do? Ss: Put the seed in the soil. (教师边做动作边引导学生说)

五、教学过程

T: Then what should we do?(教师拿出浇花的水壶,做浇花状)

Ss: Water it. T: Clever! So we need a watering can.

4、巩固seed、soil.

T: Look! I have some watering cans. Can you say “water it?” I will give you the watering can and you say “water it.”. (教师把自己花盆拿到学生旁,让学生帮忙浇水,引导学生说:

water it. 并分给每组一个花洒)Today is a beautiful day. I want to put it under the sun. Look! (课件显示sun)The sun will take good care of your seed. If you can say put it under the sun. I will give you the sun.(教师发给学生sun)

Now I will show the procedure of the plant. You can choose the sentence what I do. (课件显示种花程序的句子,但句子是被打乱的,教师做出种花的动作,学生选择正确的句子对号入座)

T: We water the soil. And wait for the sprout. Everyone close your eyes and say after me —Magic seed, magic seed,sprout.(教师拿出发芽的植物)It’s a sprout.(课件显示sprout)

(教师画出sprout,并板书单词,学生跟读、书空)

T: Do you know what sprout they are? (课件显示植物的嫩芽图)

(教师告诉学生它们是西瓜嫩芽、梨子嫩芽)

5、教授plant T: We water the sprout. The sprout will getting bigger and taller. It is not a sprout. It’s a….plant. (教师拿起准备好的植物) Wow! The plant is big and tall. (课件显示plant)(教师画出plant,板书单词,学生跟读、书空)

6、巩固seed, sprout, soil, plant.

T: Boys and girls, let’s play a game. Look here these words can move.(教师点击课件,课件显示游戏,)Look at me. (教师示范玩法) T: You did a good job. Let’s climb up! (课件显示藤) Look! A castle! How to get in? we should get the key. Before we get the key, we should answer three monsters’ questions. Are you ready?

五、教学过程

(教师点击课件,课件逐一显示各个魔鬼,魔鬼一:Can you say

these words? 魔鬼二:Number and say详见课本。魔鬼三:学生分组演示植物的生长过程。Boys and girls, Let’s enjoy working. You can show it by your team. )

(学生们按要求完成各项任务,并拿到钥匙)

T:Yeah! We’ve got the key and open the door. (教师点击课件,课件显示拿到钥匙—开门—救出公主)

Look! The princess. (课件显示公主,公主获救,向同学们说声:Thank you!)

Step 3

Exercise T:Boys and girls, Today we learnt the story

Jack and the magic seed. Now listen again and write down the missing words.

(听故事,填空) This is Jack. One day he meets an old man. The old man gives him a seed. It’s a magic seed.

Jack plants the seed.

He puts the seed into the soil. Wait! Now it’s a sprout.

The plant is big and tall. Ss: (学生完成Exercise)

Step 4

Summery T: Boys and girls,today we learnt how to plant.

You’ve also got many things. Step 5

Homework 1、熟背认读seed,soil,sprout,plant。

2、回家种植种子,用简单的英语记下种植的过程。
