The Three Little Pigs 教学设计
Ⅰ. Teaching objectives: Interest is the good beginning of learning English. To arouse the students’ interest of learning, I prepare some objects and set up a proper situation for the Ss. Then, input enough listening and speaking practice, to make Ss output in some related situation. Meanwhile, to some extent, It is also important to train Ss’ abilities of acting. And I achieve the good teaching effect.
Ⅱ.The analysis of the content and the students: The topic of this lesson is about three little pigs and their own houses. This is a picture book. The language of
situation is talking about pig’s own houses and dialogues with the wolf. The Ss are from Grade six , they have already learned English for 4 years , they can read and understand the story. By the end of this class, Ss can act the play by themselves.
Ⅲ. Teaching Important and Difficulty points
1. How to make students understand the story and think by themselves. 2. How to make students use the key sentences to act the story in a group.

Lead-in (1)
Greeting. (2)
Introduce myself to Ss.
E.g. My English name is Lisa. I’m 29 years old. I’m 1.7m. My favourite season is summer. Because I can swimming and eat ice-cream. My favourite animal is cat. It’s cute and kind. Which animal do you like? S1: I like dog. It’s friendly. S2: I like rabbit. It’s cute. T: OK. Today we will read a story about animal--The Three Little Pigs. Show the title of the story to Ss. 2.
Read quickly. Read the story quickly and silently. (1)
T: What’s the story about? Ss:The three little pigs and their houses. (2)
Look at the three houses. And learn the new words. E.

Match the houses with the three little pigs. 3.

Watch video 1 and answer. (1)
T: What did they do ? S3: They built their houses. T: Whose house is the strongest? S4: The house of bricks. T: Didn’t the wolf really come to their houses? Ss: No. (2)
Look at the pictures. T: Did the first little pig open the door? Ss: No. Listen and imitate the wolf and the first little pig. Act this part of story. B.

Watch video 3 and think. (1)
How was the third little pig and his house? (2)

What happened to the wolf? Listen and imitate the wolf and the third little pig. Act this part of story. 4.

Thinking:
(1) Which pig is clever? (2) What do you learn from the story? (3) If you have dangerous, what will you you? 5. Discuss T: Do you think the wolf is bad? Ss: Yes. Wolf: If I don’t eat small animals, I will die. This is the nature, Am I right? T: Do you agree with the wolf? Discuss in group. T: Well, this is a tale story. In the tale word, we can show our angry to the wolf and we also can show our mercy to the pigs. But in the real word, there is no bad wolf and there is no good pigs. That is the nature. Do you agree with me? OK, think it after class. 6.Homework (1)

Teaching-reflection: 本节课我运用多媒体技术和绘本相结合,通过图片,视频和板书让学生读懂这个小故事。首先让孩子快速的读故事了解故事的大意,并且能够找出每个小猪对应的房子。再把三只小猪分开来读,每一只小猪遇到大灰狼的片段表演出来,让孩子印象深刻,迅速掌握故事。最后孩子们可以丢开书本,自己表演某一个片段。其实这个故事比较简单,六年级的孩子读起来还是很容易理解的。我主要是通过问题的设置,让孩子带着问题不断思考着往下读,结合孩子自己的生活体验最后让子们自己归纳从故事中学到了什么。最后大灰狼的话,
从另外一个方面激发孩子的思维,希望随着孩子的成长,他们可以有深刻的理解。
