教学背景分析：

本课时以pet animals为话题展开，主要是让孩子们认识六种宠物，并能运用已学句型和新句型谈论宠物的特征。本节课设计了Beeno收到好朋友Tom的邀请，乘坐了UFO来到Tom家里做客这一主情境。由于Beeno是从火星来的，什么宠物也没见过，因此它会用“What is this?”“What is that?”进行询问，并在此过程中用旧知“It is____. It has____. It can_____.”对宠物的特征进行简单的描述，激活了学生的旧知。

教学对象为一年级的学生，经过了一个学期的英语学习，学生基本掌握了书上的重点句型，也能用一些简单的英语句子进行交流。学生在上学期学字母的时候已经能够听说认读本课时除了hamster外的几个单词，在1A的Chapter2有学"This is ____. He/She is my____."介绍他人；在1A Chapter 6的E部分有学“That is _____. He/She is ____”介绍他人，对this 和that的用法有所接触。然而，由于学生缺乏this和that的系统对比学习，在学习过程中可能会遇到this和that混淆的困难，这需要通过教师的引导来帮助学生解决这些困难。

教学目标：

1. 知识与能力目标

①学生能够听、说、读并理解六个宠物的单词；

②学生能够在语境中理解并运用句子“What is this? It is a ____.”“What is that? It is a ____.”来询问宠物。

2. 学习策略

①

积极思考，积极运用新知和旧知对动物的特征进行简单的描述，如“It is____. It has____. It can_____”；

②

进行TPR活动，巩固this 和that的用法；

③进行贴动物游戏，检测学生是否真的懂得this和that的用法区别。
