Book 2 Unit 4 wildlife Protection 教学目标

一、知识目标：

1．熟悉并掌握与野生动物保护相关的词汇和短语。

2．引导学生分析文章结构，理解课文内容，掌握阅读技巧，并根据文章主题获取相关细节信息，能概况文章的大意。

二、能力目标：

1．口头表述野生动物灭绝的原因及根据个人的见解提出解决问题的办法。

2. 要求学生背诵精彩的语句，并能够用这些语句表达自己的思想。

三、学习目标

1.掌握通过上下文猜测词意运用词汇；能利用资源策略，查阅字典进行求证。

2.能用英语互相交际，通过课文阅读提高阅读能力，进而达到发展写作能力。

四、情感目标

1.通过学习本文，加强学生之间的互相合作与交流。

2．能够意识到保护生活在地球上的野生动物的重要性和紧迫性；能爱护身边的动物。

教学重点、难点分析

教学重点：

1.了解野生动物面临的生存现状，让学生了解保护野生动物的重要性，思考动物保护的措施

2.提高学生各种阅读技巧，培养学生把握细节和理解文章主题的能力。

教学难点：

1.学生口语的表达能力有待于提高

2.

教学中最难的是训练学生获取信息、处理信息、分析思考和解决问题的能力，培养学生带着问题去阅读文章的习惯。

教学过程设计

Step 1 Lead in

1.展示野生动物园的几张照片，引出本单元的话题。然后以guessing game“who am I”的游戏，让学生猜测什么动物。再给出很多平时现实生活中很多动物的图片，Can you tell me the names of the animals in English?

What do you think of animals? Do you love animals? What is your favorite? Why?

通过提问这些问题让学生有足够的空间去表达自己的观点，达到训练发散思维的作用。

2. 接下来抛出下一问题，What other endangered species do you know?学生基本能根据自己的已有的知识回答这个问题，教师趁机展示一些稀有动物的照片，然后又趁热打铁

Why are animals in danger? 要求四人小组合作讨论，最后总结回答。
