Keep Advertisers Honest Using language: Speaking and Reading

Wang Ziying, Tieyi High school Senior high students are eager to learn something knowledgeable and interesting. They have their own opinions and attitudes. They're not content with the limited knowledge obtained from the textbooks. Their Analysis abstract thinking and cognitive capability have developed a lot. So I must on try my best to help them keep up their passion, develop the feeling of Learners success and build up good values. Besides, I feel an urgent need to guide them to learn to analyze a social phenomenon from different perspectives based on what they’ve learnt and then finally find out relevant solutions to cope with it. Teaching The content of my lesson is a reading material, through the learning of Content which, students are able to know more about the ways to stop false or misleading ads. What’s more, students can also learn to analyze a social problem and then figure out effective measures to address it. Meanwhile, they will be equipped with more knowledge and ability to confront more difficulties in their daily life.

Knowledge

(1)The Ss can know about various approaches to protect consumers from being misled or cheated by false or unethical ads. (2) The Ss can learn to use new words and expressions.(such as alcoholic, tobacco, immoral, decent, ethical, a code of ethics, offending and beware etc.) (3) students are able to dig out useful information or structure from reading passage to support their writing and also equip them with adequate knowledge to protect themselves from being cheated in the modern world.
