Let’s talk 教材分析:
本节课是Lesson 8
Would you like some potatoes?的第一课时。本单元主要是学习一些蔬菜类名词及Would you like some…?以及Could I have some…?的学习,让学生学会客气的征求对方意见以及有礼貌地发出请求,表述自己的需要。同时,通过对蔬菜及之前的饮食学习,培养学生健康的养生意识。因此本课时的教学目标确定为:

语言能力
a.
能流利说出及运用词汇:vegetables, potatoes, tomatoes. b.
能在真实语境中正确运用句型:Would you like some…?以及Could I have some…? 2.
思维品质
a.
能够通过学习,懂得客气的征求别人意见以及有礼貌的表达自己的需求和想法。
3.
文化品格
通过饮食文化的学习,培养健康的饮食方式。
4.
学习能力
a.能够在老师的激励下自主学习,提升自主学习能力。
b.能够与小组成员展开合作,发展自己的合作学习能力。
教学重点:
1.词汇教学:vegetables, potatoes, tomatoes. 2.句型教学:Would you like some…? Could I have some…?
教学难点:

vegetable的发音。

能在真实语境中正确运用句型。

PPT,teaching cards. 教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
Sing a song: Would you like a cup of tea? (Purpose:此歌曲紧扣本课时句型,也复习上一课的句型)
Step 2 Lead in
T: Hello, boys and girls, if you are thirsty, what would you like to drink?
If you are hungry, what would you like to eat? (Purpose:激活学生大脑关于FOOD的词汇)
OK, these are drinks fruits and main foods. Let’s talk about vegetables in Lesson 8.(T presents the title.) Step 3
Presentation 1.
T has Ss read the title, then learn the new word
“potatoes”. 2.
T presents a picture of Let’s talk and teaches the new words by talking about the picture with Ss like this: T: Where are they?
What are they doing? (Here presents two words “shoppers” and “seller”. What are they buying? (Learn the word: vegetables, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, cabbages.) (教材文本是对话教学的课堂脉动的灵魂,所以我的课堂紧紧围绕课堂文本的语境展开)
3.T has Ss listen to paragraph one and answer the following questions: 1) What do they want? 2) Would they like some potatoes?
4. Ss listen to paragraph two and circle the pictures to fill in the blanks. 5. Ss listen to the whole dialogue and choose the questions they hear. (听力难度层层递进)
6. Ss listen to the dialogue one by one sentence together with T to check their answers and finish the mid map on Bb.(整体输入,关注语义)
Step 4 Practice 1.
Listen and repeat the dialogue after the tape.(听音正音)
2.
Ss read the dialogue freely.(每个学生之间都是有个体差异的,自读可以给学生感悟语言,体验语言和内化语言的时间)
3.
Ss do some pair work. Step 5 Production 1.
T creates two circumstances scenes. Ss work in groups to make up a dialogue.(小组合作学习,培养学生团队精神)
2.
T invites some groups to act out their dialogue, the other Ss listen and give their assessments.(及时让学生互评,激励对话教学)
Step 6 Homework One star: Read the dialogue to your parents. Two stars: Try to think about more circumstances scenes to use the key sentence pattern learned in this class.
