Step 1 .Warm- up

1.Greeting

2.Sing a song :Last weekend.

Step 2 .Pre- reading

1.What did she do ? 出示图片,引导生用过去式回答,引出“housekeeper”。( 意图:复习旧知,引出新知 )

2.Introduce Mrs Broom : She is a housekeeper ,she works in a hotel .What do you think she did yesterday ?运用图片帮助学生理解新词。

3.设置情境:Wu Yifan and his family took a trip to the countryside ,they stayed at Mrs Broom’s hotel-Holiday Hotel .

4.设置情境:She read some comments yesterday .(意图:导出comments 这个词,让学生推断这个词的含义)呈现旅馆的意见卡和评价标准,帮助学生读懂评论意见卡。

5.Fast reading :Read and answer questions .

Step 3 . While – reading

1.Paragraph 1 .Key words :fixed, broken .利用图片帮助学生理解.

2.Which sentences can describe this picture ?出示情景图,让学生找出相对应的句子。

3.Paragraph 2 .Key words : wanted ,got ,tasted ,were .利用美食与普通食物的对比理解“taste bad ”.(重点读

wanted 、tasted的发音)

4.Which sentences can describe this picture ?出示情景图,让学生找出相对应的句子。

5.Paragraph 3 .Key words :didn't ,listened ,loud ,enjoy 利用图片帮助学生理解“didn't work ”和“loud ”(重点发音)

6.Which sentences can describe this picture ?出示情景图,让学生找出相对应的句子。

7.Read after the tape .

Step 4 . Post –reading

1.Circle all the verbs in the text and complete the

table.指生黑板上圈,其他生在书上完成。后完成过去式表格,师生共同对答案。

2 .If you were Mrs Broom, what would you do after reading the comments? She wrote a letter to her manage.完成P19的信的内容。师生共同反馈总结。

Step 5.Consolidation & Extension

1.Emotional education:用一些照片来描述旅馆的改变和现状。教育学生,出现了问题要及时改正、改善,才能进步。2.Retell the letter with the help of mind map .

Step 6.Homework

1.Retell the letter to your families or friends .(复述这封信)

2.If you were the manager ,according to the changes in the hotel ,write a letter to the Wu family.(你是经理,针对旅馆现在的改变,给吴家回一封信)
