1.句型Where’s . . .? It’s in/ on/ behind/ under the . . .

2. 词汇bird, under, desk, behind, on, chair,beautiful。

1.句型Where’s . . .?的正确使用。

2.词汇:beautiful,behind, chair的读音和用法。

Teaching procedures 教学过程

Step 1 watch a cartoon: 《Hide and seek 》

【设计意图:通过动画引出in/ on /under/behind,为课文学习做铺垫。】

Step 2 Presentation

1.Free talk

T: Is George on the table at the first time?

S: No.

S: No, it’s under the table.(领读under并板书,学生个别读。)

T: Is Peppa under the basket?

S: No.

S: No, it’s in the basket.

T: Is George on the newspaper at the second time?(领读on)

S: No.

S: No, it’s behind the newspaper.(领读behind并板书,学生个别读)

1.Finger game

T: Boys and girls, please show me your fingers. Put this finger in your fist, like this. It’s “in”

S: What’s this? ( on )

S: What’s this? ( under )(领读under并板书,学生个别读)

S: What’s this? ( behind )(领读behind并板书,学生个别读)

T: I do, you say.(老师做,学生操练)

T: Yes, very good. Let’s sing together. (边唱边做,反复操练)

【设计意图:此处让学生学习on,in,under, behind的手指动作,欢快形象,便于记忆。有效地为下面课文重点的学习奠定了基础。】

2.Guessing game

T: Today, I bring some presents for you. Look, what’s this?(出示微型课桌)

S: It’s a desk.(领读desk并板书,学生个别读)

T: Then, what’s this?(出示微型椅子)

S: It’s a chair.(领读chair并板书,学生个别读)

T: Wow, What are they? (出示创意橡皮)

S: They are rubbers.

T: Yes. I’ll hide it, close your eyes.(将物品藏起来,PPT出示句型让学生猜) S1:Is it……?

S2:Is it……?

S3:Is it……?

T: Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.(猜中的同学将小礼物送给他。分别有rubber,ruler, pencil)【设计意图:通过上个环节对on,in,under,behind的渗透,此环节利用猜谜游戏,让学生尝试学说Is it in/on/under/behind....?句型,为Story time的学习进行了预设。】

3.Story time

(1)Ask and answer

T: Where’s my book?

S: It’s on the desk.

T: Where’s my book now?

S: It’s in the desk.

T: Where’s my book now?

S: It’s under the desk.

T: Where’s my book now?

S: It’s behind the desk.

T: Good job. Look and guess, What’s under the book?

S1: It’s a ……

S2: It’s a ……

S3: It’s a bird.

T: Yes, It’s a bird. (PPT呈现小鸟并伴有鸟叫声)

T: Is it nice?(出示教具手工小鸟)

S: Yes. It’s beautiful.(领读教授beautiful.学生个别读。)

(2)Watch the cartoon

Where’s the bird at last?

A: under the desk

B: on the chair

C: in the tree.

T: Yes. It’s in the tree.(教授tree)

知识点:

人、物品、动物等外来之物,用in the tree。

树本身长的(苹果、橘子等),则用on the tree。

(3)Listen and number, then fill the blanks. PPT出示图片, 播放课文音频。

(4)Try to read. (出示小提示:注意读出故事中人物的情绪。注意语音语调。) T: Read after the voice. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

(5)Read in roles and work in groups of four.

【设计意图:先通过教师与学生间的问答配合,再次巩固句型。在学习story time 过程中,通过watch the cartoon,listen and number,read in roles, try to read四部曲,由浅入深,能有层次的进行了故事部分的整体感受学习,使学生的学习更有实效性。有效地进行了巩固,复习。】

Step 3 Imaginary time

T: Where will the bird fall if it comes to our classroom?

S: It’s ……(学生自由想象,老师提前折叠好很多小鸟,学生说飞到哪就粘到哪

里。)

【设计意图:想象小鸟会落在我们教师哪里,能够让学生真正运用所学句型进行操练,并且有效的激发了学生开口说英语的兴趣。】

Step 4 Homework

1. Listen to the tape and read story time fluently.

2.用Where is …? It’s …和on, in, behind, under来说说物品的位置。

【设计意图:作业是一堂课的辅助复习环节,对于英语学科,作业需要从口头和笔头两方面入手,本课时作业布置了听读与一体的复习故事,句型的日常使用操练。】
