一、单元教学目标

【语用任务】

学生能用核心词汇和句型,能根据他人对不同病症的表述,并在对其生活习惯调查的基础上,针对性给出2-3条保持健康的建议,做到语音语调正确,表达规范流畅。

语言知识与技能

1. 能听说读写cold, fever, cough, toothache等表述病症的单词。

2. 在生病看病的语境中,能够运用句型W hat’s wrong with you? How do you feel? 来对别人进行询问,并较熟练地进行回答。

3. 在生病看病的语境中,能够运用句型What should I do? You should / shouldn’t …来对别人进行询问,并较熟练地进行回答。

4. 在生病看病的语境中,能够运用go to see the doctor/dentist, take some medicine, drink a lot of water, wear warm clothes, have a good rest, brush your teeth twice a day并较熟练地给予别人建议,。

5. 能识读音标☯和☯☜以及相关单词,知道它们的发音规律并根据发音规律尝试辨识含有音标☯和☯☜的单词。

二、学情分析

纵观整套牛津教材,对于本单元seeing the doctor这一主题,涉及看病,学生们是第一次接触,能初步了解一个人生病就医的过程,学会正确表达病情,学会一些保护自己身体健康的生活常识和注意事项等。

Period 1 A toothless tiger

A toothless tiger

All the animals in the forest are afraid of the tiger because he is the king of the forest. When he comes, all the other animals run away.

There’s a fox. He’s not afraid of the tiger. He has a good idea. He gives the tiger a large packet of sweets. ‘Here’s a present for you. It’s the best food in the wo rld.’ The fox tells him.

The sweets taste very good. The tiger likes them very much. He eats them every day. He has a toothache very soon.

Many animals come to help. They pull out all the tiger’s teeth. He has no teeth now. He becomes a toothless tiger. He cannot eat the other animals. The animals are so happy.
