一、教材分析

本故事语境是Zoom和Zip去科技馆，边看那里三个场馆的介绍边进行交流。故事主要通过人类烹调方式，地球环境以及鲸鱼古今未来的变化，复习巩固并拓展单元核心句型。

二、教学目标

1.

能在图片的帮助下预测并读懂故事，能预测故事内容并归纳语段

2.

能根据故事内容回答问题

3.

能用正确的语音语调朗读故事

4.

能运用本单元核心句型谈论人物及学校的变化

5.

能树立保护地球的环保意识和保护动物的意识

三、教学重难点

1.

重点：能读懂核心词句，掌握关键信息，解决相关阅读任务

2.

难点：能根据图片预测故事发展情节并归纳语段

五、教学过程

Warm-up & Review a.

Talk about the changes of classmates 课件出示班里同学小时候的照片，现在的照片，让学生用Before, she was…. She has …. She liked …. Now, she is …. She has …. She likes ….谈论变化，并在说完后感叹Wow, big changes! b.

Talk about the changes of ourselves 课件出示班级三年级照片和现在的集体照，让学生用Before, I was …. I had …. I liked …. Now, I am …. I have …. I like ….谈论自己的变化，并在说完后感叹Wow, big changes! Presentation & Practice 整体感知故事

从上一环节引入changes话题，导出Zip and Zoom went to the science museum last weekend.情景，播放科技馆介绍动画，让学生带着How many changes did they see?观看，整体感知故事以及初步感受三个变化

Change of cooking (1)

Science and life Exhibition:播放介绍cavemen饮食的动画，让学生从构词上理解cavemen，并提问what did the cavemen eat? 从They didn’t cook their food.来理解raw是生的意思。

听介绍现代饮食的音频及未来饮食的音频，让学生discuss in pairs，what can the house robots do?

引导学生总结第一个变化为change of cooking，并根据板书提示尝试进行复述

Change of earth (1)

根据图片让学生说说What was on the earth before? There were many trees and there were many rivers. 看一段关于中国风光的短片，提问：What else was on the earth before? 学生用There was \were ….最后由Zip：Wow, how beautiful the world was! 2.

看图提问How is the earth now? There are more and more buildings. \ ….最后出现bird: Oh no! my homes!让学生说说看到这个情景的感受。接着进一步提问what should we do? We should help the earth and plant more trees. (3)

带着What’s the future on earth?的问题读故事，并把答案用横线划出来

引导学生总结第二个变化为change of earth，并根据板书提示尝试进行复述

出示故事三幅图，Q1: What did Zip and Zoom see? Whales. (2)

读故事文本，discuss in group: Q2: Who lived earlier on the earth, humans or whales? Q3: Are there many whales now?找出文本中句子证明回答

通过提问Q4: Who should be responsible for it? Humans. Q5: Do you want to be the killers or friends to whales?让学生深切意识到保护动物的重要性

Change of our school 由故事的三个change的简要复述引入What other change do you know? Here’s a topic of change you’re interested in.出示三年前和现在的学校对比图，让学生discuss in group: Before, there was\were (no)…. Now, there is\are …. In the future, there will be …. Changes around us 看一个短片，其中出现很多关于生活中出现的新鲜事物，如支付宝、淘宝、滴滴、外卖等等，最后总结Science changes our life! Homework: Read the story
