Step1. Greetings and free talk

How are you? What is the weather like today? What did you do last weekend?

Step2. Warm-up

Enjoy a song: Last weekend

Step3. Presentation

Review the key words :cleaned my room, washed my clothes, stayed at home, watched TV. Turning game:Show the word-cards quickly and then stop to show one card. Students ask and answer with the picture

Sum up the rules:add -ed Review the irregular verb phrases in the same way and then sum up the rules Lead in other rules of simple past forms of verbs by giving the word“like, study,stop”
