1. Teaching contents: 外研社新标准英语一起点第五册《M5U1 Lingling is skipping.》

2. Teaching aims:

1) Knowledge aims: a) Grasp the new words: skip; playtime; sad; no one; me; hide; seek; hurry up;

b ) Grasp the sentence structure:

Daming and Sam are playing hide-and-seek.

Daming is hiding and Sam is seeking. 2) Ability aims: Talk about activities taking place now.. 3) Emotion aims: Let pupil know---If we share our happy with others,we can get more happy. 3. Teaching important and difficult points:

Step1 warm up: 1)

Sing the song <> and do the actions. ( 旨在活跃课堂气氛，让歌曲把孩子带进英语课堂) 2)

Guessing game:

T: swimming Ss: I’m swimming. （复习旧知，为学习新知识做好铺垫。）

Step2 Lead in: 1.

Show the picture “It’s playtime.” Then talking about “what are they doing?”

Game: Listen,repeat and do the action: T:swimming

Ss: I am swimming. (旨在复习已学过的动词“ing”形式，为本节课学习做好铺垫。通过游戏，引出我们都很快乐，然后转折“But Fangfang isn’t happy. Fangfang is sad. 为什么Fangfang 不高兴呢？让生带着问题进入课文学习。)

Step3 Presentation:

Listen and answer the question: 1)

Lingling is skipping. (看图说句子。) 2) ---What are Daming and Sam doing?

--- They are playing hide-and-seek.

Daming is hiding. Sam is seeking.

(left hand--- hide; right hand--- seek, two hands--- hide and seek;

T: Who’s hiding?

Ss: Daming is hiding. T: Who’s seeking? Ss: Sam is seeking. Chant: hide, hiding, Daming is hiding;

Seek, seeking, Sam is seeking.

Daming and Sam are playing hide-and-seek. (通过chant来练习四个词：hide, hiding, seek, seeking)

Those girls are playing clapping games.

T: Do you like “clapping games”?

Ss: Yes.

T: Let play clapping games.

4) Sing a song to have a rest and review the points learnt just now.

Step5: Expandation: Show pictures about Sports meeting and talk.

Step6: Summary: Look at the blackboard ---read the sentences and new words of this lesson. Emotional education: If you put happy into halves, you can get another happy with others. Step6: Homework:

Draw a picture about “playtime”

and say what the people are doing.( 画一张大课间时，同学们在操场上游戏的图画，并说一说画上的人在干什么。) 6. Reflection: I adopt several games---“listen and do”, “clapping games”

to stimulate pupil’s interest. In the beginning and in the middle of this lesson, I apply

two songs to add more colour to this lesson. But I

cannot see the song’s effect. Not all the pupils are engaged in learning. Most of the pupils can grasp the important points of this lesson. But some of them cannot grasp the text well. I didn’t make full use of the “games”

and “songs”. I think, if I ask pupils to practice the text in the rest time, I can make my lesson complete.
