教学内容:冀教版小学英语第八册第三单元Lesson13 Summer Is Coming!

课型:新授

教学目标:

1.增强学生对本课四会词汇、短语、句式的记忆。

(season, spring, summer,autumn, fall, winter,fan)

2.提高学生应用本课重点词汇、短语、句式的应用能力。

( like to, happen to,look at)

3.通过本课的学习,让学生认识到大自然四季的美,激发学生热爱大自然、保护大自然的情感。

教学策略:听写听答策略、交际策略,组间竞赛策略,多媒体教学策略,并借鉴了任务型教学的一些教学思想。

教学设计理念支撑:

1. 四化教学:教学活动化、活动交际化、交际生活化、生活群众化

2.“文化与做”的英语学科教学风格:听、说、读、写、用、游戏、比赛等

教学过程:

1.Class opening and greetings: Good morning, boys and girls.

2.Warm up: First, let’s play a game“It’s me”. Are you ready?

3. Task Presentation:

T: Let’s have a word dictation. Take our your paper. Listen carefully and write them carefully.

T: (PPT showing the above four words) Now, let’s check. If you’re right, please put up your hands.

T:How’s the weather in spring? S:It’s warm and rainy. T:We can make sentences like this:What a warm rainy day! T:How’s the weather in summer\autumn\winter?make sentences: What a hot sunny day!

What a cool windy day! What a cold snowy day!

Autumn is a very busy season . It is the harvest (丰收)time of a year , farmers are very busy in the fields , The weather gets cooler and cooler, the days get shorter and shorter . It's usually sunny but sometimes cold in autumn .Farmers are very happy with their good harvest in fall.

Summer comes after spring .It's the hottest season in a year . It often rains in summer , I love this time of year . I often go to the seaside on summer holiday .When it rains ,I read books or watch TV . We have a lot of seafood there , Summer is my favourite season .

Spring is from March to May in my hometown . It is warm and rainy in spring . In the fields(田地) , everything begins to grow . Trees turn green and flowers bloom.We usually plant(种植)trees . Trees are good for our world. Many people like spring because it brings hope(希望).

It’s very cold in winter , but I like winter very much ,because it snows a lot in my hometown(家乡) . Sometimes we go skating or go skiing . We have a lot of interesting sports in winter .We have Spring Festival in China,Jenny has Christmas in Canada.

教学反思

在备课中,我校以提倡的“英语文化和做”这个学科特色为指导思想,以“师为导,生为主,实现多变互动最大化”“大容量、高密度”等为备课依据,由此确定了本课的教学目标(见教学设计)。

在教学中,我采用了交际策略、听写听答策略并借鉴了任务型教学的思想展开教学。教学中,四组单词的听写构成了本堂课的一个主题,之后进行的活动则围绕所听写的词汇开展。而造句、交际、听力、任务型活动等则为学生提高语言的综合应用能力提高了机会。我想这也是本课堂的成功之处吧。

这堂课还有很多不足。上完课之后,明显没有达到预期效果的环节是听力部分。原因是问题设计没有完全从学生的实际情况出发,问题的呈现与处理没有体现出一定的梯度,造成学生参与性较低,参与面较小,是需要我深入思考并改进的一个环节。

另外,学生参与课堂互动的形式还不过丰富,部分环节学生积极性不高,出现了老师牵着走的情况;另外,教学目标中所提到的“对所学内容进行适当的拓展提升”不够明显和扎实。相关的英语文化也没有更好的与本课内容有机结合起来。
