Noun Clause as Subject 教学目标：

1.

通过对课堂实例让学生能够理解主语从句的含义。

2.

通过练习能理解并掌主语从句中引导词的选择以及if 和whether的区别。

3.

能够基本解决阅读中长难句的翻译问题。

4.

学会划分句子成分，提高自信。

学情分析：

学生是普通中学的平行班，英语成绩在高考中平均分在60分左右，学生普遍存在基础知识很薄弱，句子结构不清，词汇量不够的问题。因此，练习题的选择必须挑选最简单的，最适合学生的。本节课的学习目标在于掌握主语从句中“if”和“whether”的区别，能够在语法和改错中做出判断，且阅读理解中能做到最简单的四种名词性从句可以翻译出来。

教学方法：

讨论，总结，复述。

教学用具：

多媒体，助学案。

教学过程：

Step 1. Greetings

Step 2. Presentation

名字性从句：主语从句，宾语从句，表语从句以及同位语从句。(ask students to observe and try to translate them) it 做形式主语常见的句型（此处是重点，要求学生掌握形式主语和翻译）

It + be +adj.+that…

It + be +过去分词+ that…

It + 不及物动词（词组）+ that…

It + be + 名词词组+ that…

Step 3 Exercise

Step 4宾语从句（引导词补充）

例句翻译：1. They pretended ( that ) they knew how to do it. 2. She said (that) she couldn’t tell me and that she couldn’t understand.

重点掌握：三种情况只用whether: 1.在介词后面 2.与or not连用 3.后面跟不定式

1. Everything depends on whether we have enough time. 2. I don’t know whether he will come or not.

3. I don't know whether to tell her the truth .

本节课在高考的主要题型是语法填空和短文改错。学生需要掌握“有且只有it”能做形式主语，需要注意改错题的句首。此外，本节课学生要掌握it做形式主语常见的句型，能够在写作中运用。本节课，由于学生的基础实在很薄弱，单句改错的题难度应该再降低，并且应该在加入最简单的主语从句的翻译。
