Unit 8 Dolls (Story time)

一、教学内容

Story time 二．教学目标：

1 学生能够听懂、会说、会读单词hair，eyes，ears，

nose，mouth；

2. 通过对比外貌迥异的娃娃学生能够理解会说形容词big，small，

long，short；

3. 学生能理解、运用句型His/Her…are….

His/Her … is…

4. 能正确理解、朗读课文。

5. 能简单描述人物的脸部特征。

三．学情分析

大部分同学的英语水平有了很大的提高，学习兴趣浓厚，上课能积极参与到英语学习中来，大部分同学的口语表达流利，能用所学知识进行简单的日常交流，不少同学词汇积累丰富，甚至可以用英语进行简单的写话了，这是他们取得的可喜进步。但是随着教材难度的提高，学生英语学习量的差异，在英语学习中已经出现了两极分化的现象。

三、教学重点：

1. 学生能够听懂、会说、会读单词hair，eyes，

六、教学过程

Step1 Warm up 1. Greetings. 2. Free talk. T: Nice to meet you,boys and girls.Do you like animals? What animals do you like?

What fruit do you like? Can you play basketball?

Look carefully,what happened? What’s this? Ss: It’s a doll.揭示课题，并板书。

Step2 Presentation 1. Present the goals of this lesson 2.Listen a song T: What the body parts did you hear in the song? 3. learn the new words. 出示眼睛图片eye，学生根据同音词I试读（在读的过程中，指导学生注意眼睛的单复数）

同法教学单词ears ，nose，mouth，hair。（PPT呈现的单词过程中，由单词no、shout、chair的发音过渡到nose、mouth、hair的读音，鼓励学生尝试朗读。）

4. Let’s play

Game 1:Listen, speak and do.

Game 2:Ss see the words or the facial features pictures then say them out; see the dolls, just say“beautiful”. 5. Let’s compare

(1) Present two pictures

Teach: big & small

Ss watch the cartoon and then answer the two questions. (在学生回答过程中，引导学生理解king的意思。) 2. Task2: Listen and choose

Read the dialogue, circle the words about body parts, and underline the adjectives.
