Step1.Warming-up

1.Greet to each other.

2.Let’s sing a chant “ur”

3.Ask and answer.

What are you doing?

I’m cleaning my room/washing the clothes.

What is she/he doing?

She /he is making a call/singing a song/telling a story.

(Review the sentences and phrases in Lesson 29)

Step2.Presentation

1.T: There is a photo display.Would you like to go with me?

S: Sure,Let’s go.

T: Wow, there are so many beautiful pictures.(learn the word“picture”) 2.T:(show the picture)Our friend Peter.What’s he doing?

S: He is looking at the picture.

3.T : Are you looking at this picture?(hide the picture)

S:Yes, I am./No, I’m not.

(Show different pictures to practice this dialogue.)

4.T: Li Yan is also here.Guess what are they doing?

S: they are talking about the picture.

5.T:But who is this girl? (I don’t know.) I’ll introduce her to you.she is Li Yan’s cousin.(learn new word “cousin”)

T: Can you guess what are they talking about?

S:The picture.

6.T:Guess what are they saying?

Is he looking at the moon? No, he isn’t. He is looking at the sun.

I can hear them, because they are talking loudly.Can we do like them? S: No, we can’t.

7.Let students guess the picture to practice this dialogue.

8.Work in pairs to practice the main dialogue and then show it.

9. Teach new words “stand” and “sit”.

Step 3.Drill.

Play a game: stand or sit.

Rules: When I say stand up or sit down,just do like that; when I say stand up or sit down, please be opposite.

Step 4.Practice.

1.Work in groups.

Make a dialogue in groups with this picture.

2.Show the dialogue.

Step5.Homework.

A.Copy lesson30 three times on your exercise book.

B.Practise the dialogue with your partner.

C.Finish the last questions on your exercise paper.
