Lesson1

一、教学目标：

1.能够听懂、会说单词：hotel,city,street,square,sports centre; 2.能够询问某个场所的位置，并能描述某个场所的位置。

3.能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇将句子补充完整，并且做到书写正确，规范。

二、教学重点难点：

能够听懂、会说单词：hotel,city,street,square,sports centre; 能够用句型：There is a...in the city.It’s across from the...It’s between a ...and a ...询问某个场所的位置，并能描述某个场所的位置。能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇将句子补充完整，并且做到书写正确，规范。

四、教学过程：

A. Look, listen and repeat. 1. 热身活动

(1)Game:小侦探（I spy）。此活动在全班进行，教师手拿一张表示

地点词汇的词卡，确保一个学生能看到，该生面对全班学生，该学生说：I spy, I spy.I see a word beginning with h.其余学生举手抢答:It’s a hotel.学生说:I spy, I spy.I see a word beginning with c.其余学生举手回答该问题：It’s a city.学生说：I spy, I spy.I see a word beginning with s.其余学生举手回答该问题:It’s a street/square/sports centre. (2)教师多媒体出示本课5个词汇，小对子操练词汇，小对子展示；（教师请2-3组学生展示）(work-sheet check1) (3)T:Well done.We know these five new words clearly.Can you read more places in our city?Let’s try.(work-sheet check2) 教师出示多媒体照片，展示我们的城市生活中的场所，给学生直观的感受，同时引出课题。

2.导入

教师设置情景引入本单元内容。

T:Good.From these pictures.Our city is big and beautiful.Today a woman comes to visit our city.But she needs your help.She can’t find the Sports Centre.Look at this map.Where is the Sports Centre?Can you help her? Ss:Yes.It’s across from the cinema. T:Good job.But she has another problem,is there a square in this city?She wants to walk after dinner. Ss:Yes,there is.It’s across from the Sun Hotel.(A lot of

people sing and dance every evening.)

(设计意图：通过平面图学习与本单元话题相关的词汇与功能句，以自然新颖的方式导入，激活学生以往的知识，对将要学习的内容有初步的预测与准备。教师有意在对话中反复用到新授知识点。) T:Good job.We know our city clearly.Can you find more places in this map and make dialogues with your partners?Let’s try. 3.Presentation.(work-sheet check3) （1）小对子练习对话。教师请小对子展示；2-3组学生。

Ss1:Excuse me.Where is the bank? Ss2:It’s next to the hotel. Ss1:Excuse me.Where is the Post Office? Ss2:It’s between the Sun Hotel and the grocery. Ss1:Where is the Museum? Ss2:It’s across from the park. T:Good job.We already help the lady find these places.But I have a problem.Teacher leads to Q1. （3）拓展。

Free talk: 教师询问学生的情况，请1-2个学生回答问题。

Q1: T：What can you do in the sports centre? --I can...

Ss：I can play basketball/swim/go roller skating/running in the Sports Centre. T:Good.

（设计意图：教师提出问题，创设语言交际情景，引导学生在交际中理解和掌握新单词。）

Q2: T:What can you do in the cinema? Ss:I can see a film in the cinema. Q3: T:What can you do in the park? Ss:I can play games and I can see the trees and birds in the park. Q4: T:What can you do in the Post Office? Ss:I can send a letter in the Post Office. 4.Guessing game. T：Good job.Now let’s play a game. 学生和老师一起做一个游戏。

游戏规则：教师用几句话描述一个地方，学生根据描述说出地点的特征，说出单词。如：

(1)T:There is a place.People can sing and dance.What’s this

place? Ss:A square.

T:Where’s the square in this map? Ss:It’s across from the Sun Hotel. (2)T:There is a place.People can see a film.What’s this place? Ss:A cinema.

T:Where’s the cinema in this map? Ss:It’s next to the Museum. (3)T:There is a place.People can sleep.What’s this place? Ss:A hotel.

T:Where’s the hotel in this map? Ss:It’s between the City Bank and the Post Office. 5.主题作文（口头）

T:All the students did a good job,we have one more task.Try to make a composition like this. There is a cinema in the city.It's between the sports centre and museum.I can see a film in the cinema. 学生根据本单元主题，完成一篇口语小作文，学生根据教师给的单词和功能句表达；（教师给予帮助）

（设计意图：再次出示主题图，加深学生对主题印象，口语作文，锻炼学生表达能力；）

6.Let’s write. 1.先请学生自己看一看所给地图，然后根据A项主题句进行口头填空。

2.教师请学生口头补充句子，并在四线三格上示范前两句的书写，然后请学生完成书写练习。
