B. Do you like all the weather friends? I like sunny days, but I don’t like rainy days. What about you? Ask Ss to talk about weather friends they like/don’t like.

3.Presentation and practice Andy and Amy live in their house. Weather friends come to visit them. Let’s see what do they say and do. Step 1:

Miss rainy comes to Andy’s house. Andy: Rain, rain, go away.

B.

Miss snowy comes to Amy’s house.

Andy: snow, snow, come and stay.

T: How’s the weather? Ss: It’s rainy/snowy. T ask Ss if Andy/Amy likes Miss rainy/.Miss snowy. T: Why? Ss: Because they say “Rain, rain, go away.”

“snow, snow, come and stay.”

T: “Go away” means “走开”, come and stay means”留下来”。

5 Ss act as weather friends, S choose weather friends they like/don’t like. Says like __, __, go away; __, __, come and stay. Step 2:

Step 3: Why Andy doesn’t like Miss Rainy. Because he wants to go out to play. Why Amy likes Miss Snowy. Because she wants to play. Step 4:
