Unit 1 My Neighborhood 教学设计(Lesson 1)
一、教材内容分析
本课时的教学内容为restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇;以及across from, next to, between等表示方位的词汇。教材所给情景是Yaoyao的街道俯视图。听力材料所给情景是Yaoyao的阿姨访问她的家,Yaoyao作为东道主带领她阿姨参观街道。
二、学生情况分析
四年级的学生通过三年半时间的英语学习,已经具备一定的学习英语的能力,也具备了一定的英语知识储备,为这节课的顺利学习打下了一定的基础。比如他们在二年级上册的第四单元学习过场所词汇,为这节课学习课程打下了基础。他们还学习了功能句:Where is the …? It’s …
都为这节课教学顺利开展打下基础。
三、教学目标
通过本节课的学习,学生能够达到以下目标:
1. 能够听懂、会说
restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇;以及across from, next to, between 等表示方位的词汇;能够根据语境恰当使用,并能借助拼读规律认读和识记生词。
2. 能够询问并描述某个场所在什么位置。
3. 能够根据语境,选择本课所学词汇将句子补充完整,并且做到书写规范。
四、教学重难点
教学重点:
能够听懂、会说restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇;以及across from, next to, between等表示方位的词汇。
教学难点:
Restaurant的读音及描述某个场所在什么位置。
五、教学步骤
1. 热身(唱一唱)

2. 学习(学一学,练一练)
(1)单词教学

T: Great. 设计意图:将所学知识和学生生活有机结合起来,一方面增强学生综合语言运用能力,另外一个方面让学生将所学知识有机整合起来,表述生活中自己的喜好及其理由。

设计意图:激活学生已有的知识和生活经验。

设计意图:引导学生平时要关注生活中的英语。并将生活中所见英语和学习的单词结合起来记忆。

设计意图:家庭作业以说为主,检测学生是否真正掌握本节课的内容。作业实行分层,让孩子根据自己的学习能力选作,真正实现了以生为主。
六、板书设计
整个板书以本节课的教学重难点为主,辅之以教学评价。老师每教授一个单词就添加一幅图,并在图片后写上相应的英语词汇。因为三年级的孩子还是以形象记忆为主。评价是这样进行的:全班分成AB大组比赛,比赛为争夺小红旗,看谁得到的小红旗最多。最后用这个板书来进行整节课的小结。
