教学过程

Step1 Leading in Show some pictures about what we have learnt yesterday. Ask them the following questions: 1.

What are they? 2.

What do you usually have for breakfast\ lunch\ supper? 3.

What kind of food do you like best? Step2 Warming up 1.

Show the following on the screen. Let students read the question and the information about food in the form below. Food that provides Food that helps grow Food that helps the body energy(energy-giving bones and muscles(body fight diseases(protective food)

Ask students to work in pairs to discuss the following questions and then one of them tells their ideas to the class: Questions: 1)

Step3 Pre-reading Let students turn to page 10, look at the title of the reading passage building food) meat eggs cheese food)

and the pictures and predict what the passage is about. Then have them read the passage quickly to see if they are right. Step4 Reading 1.

Fast reading Ask students to skim the reading passage and then answer the following questions: 1)

Find out the main idea of this passage. Three minutes later, check the answers with the whole class. 2. Intensive reading Allow students to read the passage carefully this time to understand the general idea of this passage. And find out : Where was Wang Peng? How did he feel? And why? 3.

Reading and discussion Read the passage a third time and then work in groups to do the following: 1)

True or False? Step5 Practice Do the new test in the College Entrance Examination which called summary to practice.
