一、教学内容分析

本节课教学内容来源于人教版必修2 Unit3 reading的Part2部分。在该课时的Warming up部分,教师别出心裁地通过对学生的旅行情况做一调查,用名人名言的方式引出相关话题,同时介绍了不同年龄不同背景不同领域的旅行者的旅行方式,引导学生对相关话题主动思考;而教师本人的旅行照片除了让学生眼前一亮外,也引出了本次课主题——Journey down the Mekong。Reading 部分讲述的主人公王坤和王薇想骑自行车旅行,于是选定沿云南西部的澜沧江,也就是湄公河作为旅游路线。通过查阅资料,他们知道了河流的特点和流向,沿途要经过的地形等,增长了地理知识,开阔了视野。本课除了让学生在基础词汇和句型方面有所学习,对湄公河的流经之地西藏做一了解。

二、教学目标

一．教学目标

情感目标：To understand the culture of Tibet 二、教学重点: Develop the students’ reading skills by extensive reading.

三、教学难点: Enable the students to learn to use reading strategies such as skimming, scanning, and so on.

三、学习者特征分析

这节课是在高一年级普通班实施的。高一年级的学生刚刚进入高中不久,词汇量较小,英语知识储备较差,还没能较好地适应高中英语学习。但他们充满热情,积极活跃,乐于表现自己,也乐于与老师配合。基于学生现状,教师设计大量学生的讨论和展示环节,来调动学生参与课堂的热情。

四、教学过程

八、教学反思

本课教学设计容量和密度较大，但难度适中，练习由简到难，大部分学生都能接受。体现全面照顾大部分学生的教学理念。学生在完成阅读理解任务找到在旅行中看到了什么，听到了什么，做了什么，感受如何，这部分做的很好。但也存在一些问题，在今后教学中注意课堂教学用语英文化，尽可能全部英文授课，同时也注意培养学生开口说英语的的信心。
