Teaching steps Step1. Scanning to review, mark and guess (2 mins) Scan to review the reading passage briefly and remind the students to mark, guess and understand the words and phrases in overstriking further in the context. First，work out the basic meanings of the words and phrases one by one in reading with the help of the context of the passage and the teacher’ explanation in the first task. Some key vocabulary 
