Help students know how to use some of the words from reading passage by doing exercises1 and 2. 2.

Help students improve their ability of using language by expressing events and trainging of Olympic Games in exercise 3. 3.

Learn an use the useful words, such as approximate, adjust, accomplish, devote and motivation. 2.

Know the sentence structures and can say and write complete stences. V. Teaching precedure: Step I: language learning 1.

Read the reading passage aloud and find out the words in exercise 1, try to understand the sentences with the words.

Look up these words in dictionary and learn the usage of these words, pay attention to the prefix and suffix of the derivatives. 3.

Finish the sentences and check the answer. 4.

Finish exercise 2 and try to replace the underlined words. Step II: Using language 1.
