一、教学目标与要求：

1.知识与能力

（1）学生能学生能够听懂、会说、认读、拼写四会词汇younger, older ,taller, shorter, longer, thinner, heavier, bigger, smaller,stronger （2）学生能学生能够听懂、会说、认读三会词汇dinosaur, hall, meter, than, both , kilogram, countryside, lower, shadow, smarter, become

（3）熟练掌握形容词比较级的变法

（4）能够灵活运用本单元词汇，描述、交际对话或创编故事

情感与价值观：

（1）培养学生学习英语的兴趣，学生能在小组后作中快乐学习英语

（2）培养学生概括、总结及语言表达能力

（3）培养和发展学生的思维能力，激发学生的想象力和创造力。

教学重难点

重点：

熟练掌握本单元词汇的音、义及四会单词的书写。

难点：

能够灵活运用本单元词汇，描述、交际对话或创编故事

二、教学过程与方法

Step 1:

Warm-up

(1) Chant together (2) Greet them (3) Lead in the contents by guessing the riddles. Step 2. Presentation

1.Show Ss the words , let the students read as quickly as they can .( pay attention to the pronunciation.)

2.Let Ss watch all words carefully , classify the words into two parts ,and tell the reason . Part 1: comparative degree Part 2: others

3.let the Ss know how to change the adjective to comparative degree. big ---bigger

thin---- thinner

heavy—heavier 4.play a game (practice more ) (1 ) choose a word , make a sentence .

(2) Make a competition,

the more ,the better. Step 3: Consolidation and extension

1. Lead in some pictures , Let them to describe ,they should use the words in unit one . 2. Complete the dialogue . 3. lead in

a story and circle the words of unit one .

purpose: let the Ss know how to use the words , different students can choose different levels

try to make every student confident and brave , Give more chances to different students ,let them speak loudly and express their ideas freely . 4.show time group by group 5. make a summary . Thinking is magic ! Thinking is wonderful ! Thinking makes perfect.

If you have an idea , try to speak it out. From the words to the sentence, from the sentence to the story . more thinkings , more wonderful . 6. Homework

to use some of the them to make a sentence , a dialogue or a little story.
