A. Let’s try &Let’s talk

1．能够正确听、说、认读单词，如：dinosaur, hall, metre, than, both, taller, tallest。

2．能够正确对待听、说、朗读与使用以下英文句子，如：That’s the tallest dinosaur in the hall. How tall is it? Maybe 4 meters. It’s taller than both of us together. How tall are you? I’m …

直接利用课文插图，呈现新单词和句子，特别是让学生直观理解tall, taller & tallest。接着通过观看，回答问题，让学生理清课文的脉络，让学生填空完成课文，再次熟悉课文。教学难点

最后通过完成表格和编对话，让学生在真实场景中运用所学语言询问和描述他人身高、年龄等，学以致用。

出示单词卡片，抽读单词。

3．Play a game:单词大变身

教师利用单词卡出示一些形容词的原形和比较级，让学生看到原形说出对应的比较级，看到比较级说对应的原形，并拼读出所说的单词。

（2）教学单词hall和句子:That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall.

教师出示课文插图，指着插图中的展览大厅介绍说：This is a museum．This is a hall of the museum.板书：hall. 师指着插图中的恐龙说：The dinosaur is tall. And this dinosaur is taller.再指着最高的恐龙介绍说：That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall. 板书：tallest,并告诉学生：tallest 是tall的最高级，最高级主要用于三个或者三个以上的事物进行比较。师带读单词和句子。

（3）教学单词both 和句子It’s taller than both of us together. T : Do you like dinosaurs ? S1 : Yes, I do . T: I like dinosaurs, too. Both you and I like dinosaurs. 板书：both, 告诉学生：both表示“两个都”，而之前学的all则用于表示“三个或三个以上都”。

教师指着插图中最高的恐龙介绍说：This dinosaur is very tall . Maybe 4 meters. 指着自己和一位学生说：It’s taller than both of us together. 让学生说说句子的意思。

A. Let’s try 中呈现的句子和选项。

（2）教师播放录音，学生听完后勾出正确的选项。

（3）全班校对答案。

3. 教学A Let’s talk (1)教师播放A. Let’s talk，要求学生带着问题观看：

How tall is the tallest dinosaur? How tall is Zhang Peng? Who is taller, Zhang Peng or the small dinosaur? 指名学生回答。

(2)教师再次播放A.Let’s talk，学生跟读两次。

3. Group work: Read the dialogue together.
