Analysis of Materials The material is from PEP Primary English Grade 6, Volume 1.This lesson is the fourth period in Unit3. The future tense and the sentence pattern “

be going to ”

were presented before. According to the New Curriculum Standard , we should cultivate the students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. As for the core competence, cultural character, trait of thinking and learning ability.

Analysis of Students Our students are in Grade 6. They’re active and curious about the activities, such as games, competition and etc. They’ve learnt some words about books and sentence pattern “ be going to ”.

Teaching Aims: Language Competence Aims: 1. Enable Ss to listen, speak, read and use the four key words “dictionary, comic book, word book, postcard”. 2. Enable Ss to use sentence pattern “ be going to ” expertly.

Learning Ability Aims: 1. Enable Ss to read words with the help of phonics. 2. Enable Ss to write a passage with the help of pattern.

Trait of Thinking Aims: Improve the ability of creative thinking.

Cultural Character Aims: 1. Be helpful to others. 2. Cooperate with others. 3.Understand the importance of making plans.

Key Point: 1. Enable Ss to listen, speak, read and use the four key words “dictionary, comic book, word book, postcard”. 2. Enable Ss to use sentence pattern “ be going to ” expertly.

Difficult Point: 1. Enable Ss to use the four key words “dictionary, comic book, word book, postcard” expertly in sentence pattern “ be going to ”. Teaching Methods: 1. Total Physical Response Method 2. Situational Language Teaching 3. Communicative Teaching Method

Teaching Aids: Seewo EasiNote , multi-media , word cards and pictures.

Teaching Procedures: 一. Warm-up 1.

Greetings. T says hello to Ss and make a self-introduction. T: Hello , hello , everyone. Good morning , my children. Do you know who is she ? OK , never mind. I am going to tell you.

[ 设计意图:呈现图片,学生猜测图片中的人物来进行问候。通过问候,拉近师生距离。利用白板放大镜功能增加学生猜测的趣味性和准确性。] 2.

Sing a song “What are you going to do?”

T introduces her best friend Gogo. T: What is Gogo going to do? S: Gogo is going to ... . T: Yes. We are going to sing and dance.

[ 设计意图:歌曲复习旧知,调动学生学习兴趣,在欢乐的歌曲中快乐学习。]

Make a shopping list T shows a picture about Gogo’s weekend plan. Gogo is going to buy some books and food with his mum. Help Gogo make a shopping list.

[ 设计意图:呈现句型 I am going to buy ….学生帮助老师完成购物。趣味分类游戏调动学生学习积极性,让他们感受学习的乐趣并初步感知今天所学单词与书本相关。复习四年级所学的书本单词。趣味分类游戏功能,可以很快抓住学生注意力,为后面的学习做好铺垫。]

二. Presentation 1.To learn the new words. (1) To learn the new word: word book Set up a gift setting for Gogo. T: My children, you are helpful. Gogo gives you some gifts.

[设计意图:利用情景学生帮助Gogo后得到礼物,学生猜测礼物是什么。激发学生学习兴趣来进行重点单词word book的教学。利用白板橡皮擦除功能和超链接功能帮助教师实现学生自由选择学习内容。] (2) To learn the new word: comic book Present a picture of a gift --- comic book. And use mobile phone electronic dictionary to look it up.

[设计意图:教会学生使用英语字典,遇到新单词可以使用工具书。利用白板手机屏幕同步功能,利用移动设备随时随地学习,实现信息技术在英语学习方面的最大化利用。并帮助学生树立正确意识,手机不仅仅为了娱乐更是为了学习。]

(3) To learn the new word: dictionary

Extract the word dictionary by using the electronic dictionary. Mobile phone is not only for fun, but also for learning.

[设计意图:教师通过手机APP来教会学生如何用手机随时随地学习英语,不受时空影响。信息化社会中手机成为生活必备,如何正确利用信息技术手段来进行英语学习,对于小学生来说尤为重要。] (4) To learn the new word: postcard Q: What / When is Gogo going to buy ?

[设计意图:

通过微信聊天的方式训练学生的英语听力能力。利用白板语音播放功能,将微信这种与生活密切联系的信息化沟通方式融入课堂教学中。]

Listen the tape and answer two questions. John is going to buy some books ,too. (1) Q1: Where are they going ? (2) Q2: What is John going to buy?

[设计意图:将买书这一有效重构的线索与课本教材内容统一,成为一个完整的故事。巩固所学重点单词,进行总结性测评。利用白板FLASH播放功能、思维导图功能、橡皮擦除功能,将教材内容有效融入课堂教学中。]

Other books. magazine , newspaper , map , storybook [设计意图:增加学生们书籍类名词的单词量。利用白板文件上传功能,将大量信息及时呈现,图文并茂,更能加深学习效果。]

三. Practice 1.Buy books. Girls PK Boys.

2. Pair-work. S1: What are you going to buy? S2: I am going to buy a / some … . 3. Role-play.

[设计意图:活动从全部单词可见到随机出现,再至PK赛,到最后由小组角色扮演直至写出母亲节计划。游戏由易到难,全面加深学生对单词的记忆。利用白板知识配对、橡皮擦除、分组竞争功能增强趣味性,让同学们在玩中学,学中玩。]

[ 设计意图:利用白板拍照上传功能,将学生所写思维导图及时上传到电脑大屏,教师可与其他同学一起点评。通过思维导图完成简单的句子的书写,为写出完整作文打下坚实基础。作文对于很多学生来说是很大的障碍,通过思维导图可以理清思路,增强学生写作文的自信心。] 四. Extension Enjoy a storybook. Reading is fun. “Going to the firehouse”

[ 设计意图:培养学生爱读书的品质。利用白板有声绘本音频自动播放功能,让学生感受阅读的乐趣。]

Teaching Evaluation 1. 男女组买书pk赛,玩单词操练游戏进行课堂学习效果的及时评价。

2. 课堂任务完成后分为自评、互评、教师评。针对课堂学习情况的概括性评判和描述,分为good,great,excellent三个等级。

3. 学习感受。上完本节课,你有什么感受?有哪些收获?你觉得自己还可以在哪些方面改进?(小组合作方面、课堂参与方面、练习方面……)
